Here we are on the first Sunday of the year, time flies so fast isn't it, and it has been a week since the last day of last year. Did you have any plan for the weekend? This week I will be working full, to prepare the villa, since the owner will come in a few days.
This Sunday post will be my contribution to #sublimesunday initiated by , #beautifulsunday initiated by
, and my #sundayrandom where I share my random macro shots
Fort today I have two beetles and a spider. The first one is this black beetle, from the shape of its head, I think it comes from the Scarab family. While most of its body is black, you can see it also has a slight green metallic tint on its body. Quite fascinating, right?
Next is this paralyzed spider, my friend knocked down, what seemed to be the nest of a kind of mud wasp. They are known to put the future prey for their offspring on the mud nest that they build. And this poor spider unfortunately was one of the future prey for the larvae, before it was knocked down.
I believe the spider is still alive, because otherwise, the legs will be stiff, and also will be retracted back to towards its body.
And then the last one is this green stink bug. I only took two photos, because I had things to do during the photoshoot, and I had to halt the process. And when I came back, my friend already tossed out the beetle. A little bit sad, because I still could try to make a few pose and shots of this bug.
