This is my entry for #FungiFriday initiated by
I was cleaning my marigold flower vase on the kitchen table after the guest checked out. When I wanted to throw it away, I noticed that some parts of the flower had deteriorated. The condition of the flower has become a good place for the mold to grow.
It might look bad on the flower vase, but when you look closely, you can see that the mold also looks so nice, entangled in the rotten part of the flower. This shows that nature is at work trying to bring the natural compound back to the ground.
And next is this funny-looking fungus on the underside of a leaf. Not sure which fungi is this, and also the reason why it grows on a leaf that has not not totally destroyed yet. Maybe some substance under that leaf could support the growth of this fungus.
And then to close the post, I have this solitary mushroom that grows in the garden grass. Not so sure what kind of mushroom is this. The cap seemed to not fully developed yet.
