This is my entry for #FungiFriday initiated by
The long waiting rain finally comes in this rainy season, we have to wait until the middle of January for the rain to fall, while at the end of 2022, it was already wet from November until March of 2023.
With that, we also have to wait for the mushroom season this year, because without much water, there will be very few mushrooms that will grow, and my chance of finding them scattered around the area is very slim, especially in the place where I work which is quite dry. Well I guess it might be the star of the mushroom season also for me, so I hope I can photograph more mushroom this season, and then share the mushroom that I find to all of you. : )
It was raining the previous night, when I found this mushroom grown under a big tree and also under a clay pot, maybe there was enough organic material there and then the rain at night helped them to sprout and grow the following day when I found them.
I noticed this small fly perching on the cap of the mushroom, it is very small and I didn't use my macro extension tube, so I could only get this close for the fly, rrr, and the mushroom.
While here you can see some mushrooms grow on top of the root of the tree, and on the left, you can see it grow from under the clay pot.
And then in the following photos, you can see how the place they grow could also have an impact on the future development of the mushroom. The cap could not spread wide because it unable to push the clay pot.
And then here you can see a closer look at the young mushroom that grows freely without any obstruction, the cap is looking very nice. and that is true because later that day it fully developed, and the cap could spread nicely. But too bad, I was unable to take the photograph when it finally bloomed.
