Tell us about what is your favorite season.
Yesterday afternoon, I decided to go out and I was kinda happy that the weather was favourable for me to go leave the house after the previous day's rain that lasted throughout the day hindering me from carrying out most of my planned activities.
So, I dressed up and went out with so much steeze and composer, I was all made-up and dressed perfectly and elegantly for the occasion. Left the house, boarded a tricycle, and was on my way to the place, while I was checking my time and making sure I did not arrive the occasion late.
Immediately my tricycle took a bend a few minutes away from my house, the rain started heavily and wasn't looking like something that was ending soon. I was livid, angry, and beginning to regret why I did not carry my umbrella along with me when I was leaving the house, but then, when I left the house, it wasn't looking like it was going to rain soon or at all.
The weather was calm and soothing, so I didn't think it was going to rain at all that evening. So, that was why when I left the house, I wasn't disturbed about what would happen or the change of weather. I was so confident that it would not rain that evening.
Guess who had to enter the rain to get to her destination, yeah, you got it right, I did. The beautiful and elegant lady who dressed hyping herself, for looking all gorgeous, got drenched before she got to her destination.
Well, I had no option when I got to my destination, I had to get down from the tricycle. I was so angry and already shivering due to the cold, and because of that, I didn't enjoy my outing.
I enjoy all the seasons, because they all have advantages and disadvantages, in Nigeria, we have two seasons, the rainy season begins from April to September and the dry season begins from December to March.
Just like the dry season gives us easy access to good weather and dried clothes anytime we wash them, even though it makes everywhere hot, the rainy season serves its purpose yet still.
Even though the rainy season hinders and restrains people's movement, and most times makes one have too many wet clothes lying around the house also I realize that during the rainy season, I tend to fall ill frequently, always wearing heavy clothing, constantly shivering and using warm water and hot balm to help myself.
Regardless, my all-time favourite season will remain the rainy season because it helps one have a good night's rest and not worry about how hot the weather is or the hot scorching sun. The
