I have a feeling it happens in pretty much every workplace around the globe, but I also think it is an indication of a larger problem.
You're right about that. Over the years I have been forced to work with all kind of people and if I were to create a profile for each type, it would be funny to read it. But they all have something in common. If they can pass the work on to someone else, they will do it in a split second.
Getting a degree doesn't necessarily mean you're clever, not even in that area. I know people who excel in studying, but when it comes to using what they have studied, they have no clue.
Working with people is the hardest thing.
