Earlier today I told you about my new favorite toy - Skinners. They are so inviting that I had to take them for a walk and run to feel them.
First impression?
Great!
You are barefoot without actually being barefoot.
You can feel every pebble, of course. You can feel the pain of landing on a sharp stone. Yet, your soles stay intact.
What can I say more? I expected them to be like this :)
After the first run
Before the first walk
The sole after the walk on asphalt ...
... and after the run, on asphalt again
I caught some pebbles :)
Skinners are much more socks than shoes. They behave like fairly firm and tight socks. At the same time, they protect your soles. They are a strength training equipment for your legs :)
More about Skinners in the next days. I am curious what the time and usage will tell about the durability. There are other aspects I'd like to test too.
I'll tell you more about the origin, the makers and the build in the next days too.
