A las mujeres nos encanta maquillarnos. Los polvos compactos forman parte esencial de nuestra rutina de Makeup. Dependiendo de la frecuencia con que los usemos pueden durarnos hasta un mes, eso quiere decir que luego hay que buscarles reemplazo.
¿Pero qué hacemos con el empaque donde vienen contenidos? Yo solía guardarlos por un tiempo, los utilizaba como espejos auxiliares hasta que luego los desechaba.
Pero de un tiempo para acá los he ido guardando para darle un nuevo uso. Separé el espejo del empaque para crear una manualidad bastante linda pero útil. Un "Espejo Boho".
Todo lo bohemio y rústico está de moda. Yo adoro este estilo desde hace muchos años, no es algo nuevo y porque este en tendencia.
Es súper fácil de hacer y debido a su tamaño, no se requieren muchos materiales.
Es un lindo detalle para colgar en la pared, decorar nuestros espacios y hasta para regalar a una amiga o persona especial.
Te cuento entonces como he creado este espejito paso a paso y los materiales que vas a necesitar.

Women love to put on makeup. Compact powders are an essential part of our makeup routine. Depending on how often we use them, they can last us up to a month, which means that we have to find a replacement later.
But what do we do with the packaging where the contents come? I used to keep them for a while, I used them as auxiliary mirrors until I discarded them later.
But for some time now I have been saving them to give them a new use. I separated the mirror from the packaging to create a pretty cute but useful craft. A 'Boho Mirror'.
Everything bohemian and rustic is in fashion. I have adored this style for many years, it is not something new and because it is in trend.
It's super easy to make and because of its size, not a lot of materials are required.
It is a nice detail to hang on the wall, decorate our spaces and even to give to a friend or special person.
Then I will tell you how I have created this little mirror step by step and the materials that you are going to need.

- Espejo redondo pequeño
- Cartón de cajas recicladas
- Silicón
- Tijeras
- Estambre
- Small round mirror
- Cardboard from recycled boxes

P R O C E S O || P R O C E S S
Primero debemos ubicar nuestro espejo. Como les comente antes, este es de un polvo compacto que ya se había terminado.
No fue necesario retirarlo a la fuerza, pues este había perdido el pegamento y se desprendió solo.
👀 Cuando lo retires ten mucho cuidado de no romperlo y no cortarte.
Luego tomamos dos trozos de cartón de una caja. En ellos vamos a marcar dos círculos que deben ser más grandes que el espejo.
Uno va a ser la base donde pegaremos el espejo y el otro lo pegaremos sobre el espejo para dar mayor resistencia y será donde pegaremos las decoraciones.
Este último debe tener un agujero en el centro, ligeramente más pequeño que el espejo.
First we need to locate our mirror. As I told you before, this is from a compact powder that had already been finished.
It was not necessary to remove it by force, because it had lost the glue and came off on its own.
👀 When you remove it, be very careful not to break it and not cut yourself.
Then we take two pieces of cardboard from a box. In them we are going to mark two circles that must be bigger than the mirror.
One is going to be the base where we will stick the mirror and the other one we will stick on the mirror to give it more resistance and it will be where we will stick the decorations.
The latter should have a hole in the center, slightly smaller than the mirror.
Con un poco de silicón pegamos el espejo a la base de cartón.
With a bit of silicone we stick the mirror to the cardboard base.
Ahora hacemos varias borlas con estambre de los colores de tu elección. Yo los hice de color rosa vieja y blanco hueso.
Now we make several tassels with yarn in the colors of your choice. I made them old pink and bone white.
Pegamos el cartón con el agujero en el centro sobre el espejo.
We glue the cardboard with the hole in the center on the mirror.
Ahora fijamos con un poco de silicón cada una de las borlas hasta cubrir todo el borde del espejo.
Luego hacemos una pequeña trenza que será el cordón con el que colgaremos el espejo. Yo lo hice con una aguja de crochet.
Pegamos en la parte trasera del espejo.
Now we fix each of the tassels with a little silicone until it covers the entire edge of the mirror.
Then we make a small braid that will be the cord with which we will hang the mirror. I did it with a crochet hook.
We glue on the back of the mirror.
Y listo, así luce nuestro Espejo Boho terminado. Como te dije, es una manualidad super sencilla y tiene un acabado muy lindo.
