We can never over-emphasize the usefulness of education in our lives and the society at large, we all know how paramount it is to be educated and the impact it has on us apart from our failed government that neglected the value of education and makes the youth to suffer on the street making the non-educated thinks education is a scam
DESIGNED USING CANVA
The responsibility of education lies with these three: schools, parents, and society at large. Each has a vital role to play in making sure that students are well-equipped with the skills and knowledge necessary to thrive in today's complex world. Here are my thoughts about the responsibilities and potential solutions.
Whose responsibility is it? School, parents, or society?
ROLES OF THE SCHOOL
Talking about education school, parents, and society play a vital role, the type of School someone attends tells more about who you are, school is like a foundation that holds a building, without a better foundation the building will surely collapse, now without a good school where morals are been taught and implemented the value of education will be wasted. School is where you will be taught how to read and write, how to construct a proper sentence, and how to express yourself verbally. Also, the schools are the ones providing a suitable environment that will be conducive to learning
ROLES OF PARENTS
Some parents believe that the school should be the one to do all the necessary things for a child but this is all wrong, Parents are the pillar of the house, and without a pillar, such a building will not last, learning starts from our parents, our parents are our first teacher, they are our supporter and the ones who will provide a suitable place for learning, they make research of good schools that will give them the best result they attain. Our parents play an important role in our education from paying the fees and buying the necessary equipment. Parents should communicate with teachers and the school to understand their child's progress and interests and advocate for their needs.
THE SOCIETY
Society also tells more about education, We need to address systemic inequalities in education, such as access to quality education, socio-economic disparities, and unequal access to technology and resources, in some societies, children should have the same right to everything concerning education, there should not be segregation when it comes to education, having the same right is the duty of the society, not some sort of discrimination.
Society should be able to provide amenities and some basic technology that can help children's progress, Businesses can offer internships, mentorship programs, and work-based learning opportunities to provide students with real-world experience and industry connections, there are some organization that always offers to train students for six months in my country and pay them little amount to appreciate their interest in learning more, this depends on your course of study if it goes in line with the organization.
What education should look like
Education is never a do or die, parents should always give their children to explore and choose what is best for them, so many parents are guilty of this, always allow your children to make their decisions, now with the help of technology, education should be tailored to individual students' needs, interests, and learning styles.
Students should Focus on developing skills that are relevant to the modern workforce, the problem we have in the world today is a lack of choosing a good career or the ones that are relevant in one's country, there are some courses which aren't relevant in my country and by studying those courses it can lead to unemployment because such career isn't relevant but choosing a career such as data analysis, digital literacy, can even lead to self-employed and it is relevant in every field.
Why modern schools might be obsolete
So many schools' curriculum are outdated and they are not interested in getting new ones, this may affect the learning system and may not equip students with the skills needed for the modern workforce. Having the curriculum up to date can help schools with the modern world.
