Hola a todos! espero que su semana esté yendo de maravilla! quiero contarles sobre el lugar que visité el fin de semana anterior y que realmente estuvo increíble, me gustó tanto que volvería a repetirlo, aunque pensaba que no tendría nunca plan para ese fin de semana, pero bueno dicen que las mejores cosas pasan sin planearlas.
So, the place that Pawel and I visited is Cieszyn, a city in Poland that has a border with a city in the Czech Republic, so imagine how happy I was, that after crossing many times the Simon Bolivar International Bridge to go to Colombia from Venezuela, this day I was crossing another bridge to visit the Czech Republic from Poland but without the stress of when I visited Cucuta (Colombia).
Entonces bien, el lugar que visitamos Pawel y yo es Cieszyn, una ciudad en Polonia que tiene frontera con una ciudad de la República Checa, así que imaginense lo feliz que me sentía yo, que luego de cruzar muchas veces el Puente Internacional Simón Bolívar para ir a Colombia desde Venezuela, este día estaba cruzando otro puente para visitar la República Checa desde Polonia pero sin el estrés de cuando visitaba Cúcuta (Colombia).
So of course the first thing we did when we got there was to look for a place to park the car, and good thing we got a good spot. Then we walked around to get acquainted, and saw a sign for the Olza River, which separates Cieszyn in Poland from the city Český Těšín in the Czech Republic.
Así que por supuesto lo primero que hicimos al llegar allí fue buscar un sitio para estacionar el carro, y que bueno que conseguimos un buen lugar. Luego fuimos caminando para conocer, y vimos un letrero del río Olza, que separa a Cieszyn en Polonia de la ciudad Český Těšín en la República Checa.
Now I show you a little bit of the beautiful city of Cieszyn and we while I tell you that it took us about an hour and a half to get to this city from Sosnowiec in Poland.
Ahora les muestro un poco de la hermosa ciudad Cieszyn y a nosotros mientras les cuento que tardamos una hora y media aproximadamente en llegar a esta ciudad desde Sosnowiec en Polonia.
But of course we would also cross the bridge to go to the Czech town and get to know a little bit there, but only a little bit, because from far away we saw that it looked a bit lonely and we didn't want to get bored, so we just stopped at the nearest store to buy some sweets and a Czech beer hahaha.
Pero por supuesto que también cruzariamos el puente para ir a la ciudad Checa y conocer un poco allí, pero solo un poco, porque desde lejos vimos que se veía un poco sola y no queríamos aburrirnos, entonces solo paramos en la tienda más cercana para comprar algunos dulces y una cerveza Checa jajaja.
After shopping in the store, we returned to Cieszyn and we were already hungry, so we decided to walk a little and look for a place to eat, we found a hamburger place that seemed perfect, because it has good reviews but it was very crowded and there was no table available for us because the place is quite small, so we decided to go buy a dessert and later we would look for another place to eat.
Luego de comprar en la tienda, regresamos a Cieszyn y ya teniamos hambre, así que decidimos caminar un poco y buscar un lugar para comer, encontramos un sitio de hamburguesas que parecía perfecto, pues tiene buenas reseñas pero estaba muy lleno y no había ninguna mesa disponible para nosotros pues el local es bastante pequeño, entonces decidimos ir a comprar un postre y más tarde buscariamos otro lugar para comer.
We also went by the city square, which I wanted to visit because of the pictures I had seen on the internet but it was closed because they were remodeling, we were not lucky (as always), I think they decide to remodel the places when I go to visit them hahaha, but that does not make us sad and we went to buy this delicious dessert that is like a donut filled with lots of sweet, I recommend the Cappuccino that was really delicious.
Pasamos también por la plaza de la ciudad, la cúal quería conocer por las fotos que había visto en internet pero estaba cerrada porque estaban remodelando, no tuvimos suerte (como siempre), creo que deciden remodelar los lugares cuando yo voy a conocerlos jajaja, pero que eso no nos ponga triste y mejor fuimos a comprar este delicioso postre que es como una dona llena de mucho dulce, les recomiendo el de Capuccino que estaba realmente delicioso.
Then we went to the Castillo brewery or beer museum, where there were many people waiting to take the tour and I understand that in addition to showing the entire plant, they also show you how they make their beer but of course there were no more tickets left so we could not take the tour, however we decided to try one of their different beers while we relaxed a bit sitting there.
Luego fuimos a la fábrica o museo de cerveza el Castillo , donde habían muchas personas esperando para hacer el recorrido y tengo entendido que además de mostrar toda la planta, también te muestran como fabrican su cerveza pero por supuesto que ya no quedaban más boletos así que no pudimos hacer el recorrido, sin embargo decidimos probar una de sus diferentes cervezas mientras nos relajabamos un poco allí sentados.
Después de la cerveza, seguimos conociendo un poco más y estabamos buscando la Iglesia de San Nicolás y San Wenceslao, que es la primera foto de este post y que es muy conocida puesto que además está pintada en el billete de 20 zlotys.
We also saw the Piast tower, which we could climb paying I think 9 zlotys per person to see the city from up there but we decided against it.
También vimos la torre Piast, la cual podiamos subir pagando creo que 9 zlotys por persona para ver la ciudad desde allí arriba pero decidimos que no.

While walking we found a restaurant called Plackarnia where we ate this delicious dish that you see below but I really do not remember the name, it was a potato base with fried flour, lots of cheese, mushrooms and an exquisite sauce, also with a piece of meat on top that was delicious and very soft, I recommend it, I really loved it.
Mientras caminamos encontramos un restaurante llamado Plackarnia donde comimos este plato delicioso que ven abajo pero realmente no recuerdo el nombre, era una base de papa con harina frita, mucho queso, champiñones y una exquisita salsa, además con un trozo de carne encima que estaba deliciosa y muy blanda, se los recomiendo, realmente me encantó.
Now it was time to go back home, happy after a great day despite the inconveniences but we had a great time.
