If you watch closely the nature around and pay attention to details, you will soon notice that plants have their own special abilities and tricks. The longer I go and shoot all the little things the more I recognize plants and I know what they do.
These for example are young lupine leaves I shot in earlier this year. When they stay to pop from the soil during the rainy season they look like ball of fluff covered in water drops. They gold the water like champs! But just shake the leaf and all the drops will fall with almost no trace.
All that little fur keeps the moist away from the leaf. I am guessing it is also a very good sun protection, since most of the time they grow on open fields when the sun is just merciless. And they are fine :)
They are beautiful light green, but I like how calm and soft they look in monochrome version.
