I can no longer sleep in even if I want to.
7am is where it's at most of the time. Sometimes 5am and very rarely 8:30am.
Today was 7am as usual.
Bianca sleeps in longer than me so that gives me some time to make a post.
I did wake her up for about 2 minutes making coffee.
They have one of those ear deafening Nespresso machines here and I need my coffee.
When I pressed that button the machine kicked into gear filling the room with the sounds of coffee grinding noises and from the other side of the room all I heard was "Are you fucking kidding me"...
I told her it's hardly my fault, they don't have (quiet) instant coffee here like normal hotel rooms.
Luckily for me (and her) 2 minutes later my job as a Barista was over and I could sit down behind my computer and bianca is sound asleep once more.
Steem...

Once again it did make me belief we were there. Everything was pointing at it going up and then it went down instead.
Not much btw, that is the good thing about STEEM. Zero is only 35 cents away :)
I bought more STEEM the other day. FOMO'd myself into the idea of it going up and this could be the last time I would ever be able to pick up some more STEEM with Fiat. (It's a fear of mine).
I don't mind buying STEEM at any of these prices around 40 cents. But I'm like anyone else when it comes to that buying and going down straight away feeling. It's not great, lol.
The reason I don't mind buying now is because I have seen the power of SP before and the impossibility to get it when it was trading higher. I'm not kidding when I say or write that you really have what you have once it goes up.
But at least I have a new baseline. That's the good thing about buying anything tradable. Anything below 40 cents is now a steal and will dollar costs average my buys.

Well, we are here now and it's always different when it's here. Now that it's 40 cents I'm not buying the shit out of it, I'm doing what I always done, slowly getting a little more (and it has add up over time).
I'm sure that when the markets reverse at some point
Steem has been the longest grind of my life so far. It's not the longest thing I ever done (my IT company was 10 years old when I quit). But it's that one thing that has had my complete dedication for the last 3 years, every day, no breaks.
Steem is that one thing that makes me want to jump out of bed in the morning and check if anything new has occurred. (I never felt like this about my work emails).
This feeling btw has increased exponentially lately.
There is nothing else I rather do then what I do now with blockchain and cryptocurrencies and Steem is by far my favorite.
Steem is the only one that I can use and man! Do I use it. (like right now, at 7am in a hotel room)
The Steem ecosystem is only growing and soon there will not be enough time to do everything that needs to be done for a single person.
Splinterlands is a good example. Just doing the 50 matches to get the DEC and dailies done can take several hours. Also their marketcap is only growing and I love following that too.
Now I'm also trading several tokens on STEEM-ENGINE. Upvoting content on D-tube now that I can split my vote. And there is so much more.
I can literally sit behind my computer and cycle through all the stuff there is to do on Steem and never get bored.
I often jokingly call Steem the good cockroach of crypto. Soon we will infest every other blockchain out there and there is nothing they can do about it.
I think every nay-sayer of Steem out there (and there are a lot) will eventually find themselves on a forum, tube, a game or a front end empowered by a token powered by Steem even if the content is about their own Cryptocurrency!
They will have no choice to get some Steem-Engine tokens for STEEM. No doubt reluctantly.
In the end of the day what we have here on Steem is pretty fucking decent. I know it, you know it and soon everyone will know it.
I love this place so much.
I hear Bianca just woke up, so this is my cue to stop and prepare to go spend some time on the beach before going home again.
