Hello friends Hive account@worldmappin, I hope you are having a great week. I want to share with you an experience that connected me with the beauty of simplicity during a visit to the Morro Pier, here on our beloved Margarita Island, Venezuela.

After a busy day running errands, one of those days when time seems to fly by faster than usual, I decided to treat myself to a moment of relaxation just as the sun was beginning to set. I want you to know that this is my favorite part of the day, when the sky is painted with shades of gold, orange, and pink. That's when I made the decision to take a detour and head to the Morro Pier.

This place, located in the Porlamar area of the Mariño municipality on our beautiful Margarita Island, is a beautiful spot where the tranquility of the sea blends with the warmth of our people. Upon arrival, I felt the stress of the day melt away with the sea breeze. The pier is an open, spacious area where you can breathe freedom. It is common to see people jogging, fishing, or simply sitting and contemplating the horizon. The children who live there jump into the sea from the edge with contagious laughter, while couples share a drink, a conversation, or simply the silence, enjoying the natural spectacle before their eyes.

What I liked most was the harmony of the place. As the sun set, the boats slowly returned from their day of fishing, crossing the golden reflection of the water. It was as if every element was in its place, as if the entire universe had aligned to offer us ithat perfect moment and a postcard-like photo.

In addition, the Morro Pier has a special value for the people of Margarita. Every September 8, in honor of the Day of the Virgin of the Valley, our patron saint, the place is filled with life and devotion. On that day, the Venezuelan Navy Training Ship makes its traditional visit, docking at the pier as part of the celebrations. It is an event that unites the community, where faith, tradition, and island pride are present in every corner.

If you ever have the opportunity to visit Margarita Island, I recommend you visit the Morro Pier. Whether you go alone, with family, or with friends, this place has the ability to give you peace, beauty, and a deep connection with nature and local culture.

Hola amigos Hive account@worldmappin espero estén pasando una excelente semana. Quiero compartir con ustedes una experiencia que me conectó con la belleza de lo simple en una visita al Muelle del Morro, aquí en nuestra querida Isla de Margarita, Venezuela.

Después de un día lleno de diligencias, de esos en los que el tiempo parece correr más rápido de lo normal, decidí regalarme un momento y fue justo cuando el sol comenzaba a descender y quiero que sepan que esa es la mejor parte de mis días, en ese momento cuando se tiñe el cielo de tonos dorados, naranjas y rosados. Fue entonces cuando tomé una decisión de desviarme del camino y dirigirme al Muelle del Morro.

Este lugar, está ubicado en la zona de porlamar, Municipio Mariño de nuestra bella Isla de Margarita, es un rincón bello en el que se mezclan la tranquilidad del mar con la calidez de nuestra gente. Al llegar, sentí cómo el estrés del día se borraba con la brisa marina. El muelle es un espacio abierto, amplio, donde se respira libertad. Es común ver a personas trotando, pescando o simplemente sentadas contemplando el horizonte. Los niños que viven ahí se lanzan al mar desde el borde con risas que contagian, mientras las parejas comparten una bebida, una conversación o simplemente el silencio, disfrutando del espectáculo natural que tienen frente a sus ojos.

Lo que más me gustó es la armonía del lugar. A medida que el sol se ocultaba, los botes regresaban lentamente de su jornada de pesca, cruzando el reflejo dorado del agua. Era como si cada elemento estuviera en su sitio, como si el universo entero se alineara para ofrecernos ese momento perfecto y una foto tipo postal.

Además, el Muelle del Morro tiene un valor especial para los margariteños. Cada 8 de septiembre, en honor al Día de la Virgen del Valle, nuestra patrona, el lugar se llena de vida y devoción. Ese día, el Buque Escuela de la Armada Venezolana hace su tradicional visita, atracando en el muelle como parte de las celebraciones. Es un evento que une a la comunidad, donde la fe, la tradición y el orgullo insular se hacen presentes en cada rincón.

Si alguna vez tienen la oportunidad de visitar la Isla de Margarita, les recomiendo que se acerquen al Muelle del Morro. No importa si van solos, en familia o con amigos, este lugar tiene la capacidad de regalarles paz, belleza y una conexión profunda con la naturaleza y la cultura local.
