Graffiti!
- AllDays
Welcome to the second edition of Venezuelan graffiti.
Let’s get right to it without much preamble or anecdotes—just the best pieces, the classics, and those that have stood the test of time in the world of street art:
Some of these pieces are over 5 years old. As you can see, the fading and wear on the colors of each one is evident; however, we can still make out the names of several renowned artists from major crews such as CMS, EVP, and others. The streets of Caracas present a stark contrast when it comes to street art, as there are graffiti artists and there are 100% —that is, committed to the vandal style, preserving graffiti’s original roots and maintaining those rivalries, style wars, and, above all, territorial battles.
(Taking the "spam" risk i drop them all)
Vandal:
On the other side of the city, we can see impressive and flawless works of true art, but I’ll cover that in my next selection of Venezuelan graffiti.
All these photos were taken with my old phone, a Redmi 9A, which still hasn’t been repaired. However, thanks to technological updates, I’ve been able to regain access to a folder containing several files, including many photos taken last year when I traveled to the capital.
I hope you enjoy viewing these different works, and if you have knowledge of urban culture and the world of graffiti, here you can see some names of renowned artists and writers who, to this day, remain anonymous.
