Dropped A Bit With Market Delegations Expiring

Week 25 continued the path from the week before as Steem dropped down into the low $0.80s. On top of that we had several bigger Minnowbooster Delegations expire (3 total), so our total SP took a little hit this week. We did however recover a decent chunk back as we got a very nice size donation from Hive account@lyndsaybowes of 20 Steem and that combined with our other donations and post payout enabled us to get a 700 SP 13 week delegation from the MB market. We are slightly below 9000 SP and I think we've handled the drop rather well considering the rest of the drop many people have felt.... While we didn't fully replace what we lost from 3 different delegations, we did manage to make up half the loss!

On the upvote of our post this week, it was a good participation and was still led by Hive account@fulltimegeek and his bots, but the drop in the value of steem knocked the post payout down because each vote is worth much less. Again we are ok with it though because this account hopes to be around for a long time, so while it might be low today, we will just focus on doing our best to give out what vote values we can!. Steem was down anther 5% for the week (to $0.91) and our vote values suffered along with everyone as they dropped to $0.15 per post per steward (-$0.02).

On the free delegation front we didn't have any new delegations, but we also haven't had any cancellations either. So thank you to all the free delegators for their generosity and keeping this account buoyant!

During the week we had a two more donations come in (from repeat SOG donors) with Hive account@cranium giving 1 Steem and the previously mentioned Hive account@lyndsaybowes giving 20 Steem (for a total of 21.0 Steem between them). Thank you both very much for your donations and they definitely helped us this week when we had a crunch on expiring delegations! Thanks to you both, we cut the drop to the account in half, as we were able to re-lease 700 SP on the market!

This Weeks Payment On Posts Today (~$7 steem)

Tonight we will receive the 25th weekly payout since the launch of this program. The payout will be equivalent to about $7 steem (with the new payout formula, it will be all in steem), and it, along with any donations will be used to initiate new leases if the rates stay so favorable. The goal will be to add more new 13 week leases to replace the expiring 13 week leases each week that come due!

We have successfully built up and stabilized our account, and now we should provide a steady and growing upvote if we continue to get your support. The goal is to give the SOG members a real benefit and with your continued efforts to support us, we will continue to build the SP and curation trail.

As mentioned earlier these new donations and earnings of sbd from posts will be reinvested to grow the SP so that the SOG members get a bigger hit to their upvote. We have now started lengthening the leases from 13 to 20 weeks depending on market opportunities.
