Expiring Delegations Half Covered, We're Almost Ready To Grow Again!

Edited: I missed mentioning a 100 SP delegation from Steward of Gondor member Hive account@lyndsaybowes. I want to give Lyndsay a special mention because she stands out as one of the best members of the Stewards that I've met here. I apologize for missing this in my original post, but I caught it within 2 hours so maybe she hasn't read it yet :D ... Anyways, thank you very very much Lyndsay for everything you do for everyone!

As mentioned last week, Week 37 was a week that had a big batch of expiring delegations! Specifically we had a 1000+ leased delegation from Hive account@em3 that came due this week. We renewed it with him and only lost 300 SP in the process, because he agreed to take payments as we get them (and not require it all upfront). We owed him a total of 52 Steem for another 13 weeks for the 1000 SP we renewed, and we were able to cover 1/2 that from the post upvotes and contributions from all of you!!! Also thank you Hive account@em3 for AGAIN working with us and supporting the Stewards of Gondor cause. The bottom line is we are half way there, and we will get more when last week's post pays off this week! I'm pleased that we barely got hit on our total SP as we are still in the 16K SP range and now looking up! :D

Our upvote was a bit softer this week, although we did had nice participation from many of you, along with of course Hive account@fulltimegeek. Steem suffered another small drop in the price at the end of the week and that may have affected it some as well. As always, I'd like to thank everyone for their continued solid support and it all works together to make this program now hit its 37th week! On the vote values, we are casting a vote value of $0.23 per post per steward (-$0.01).

This Weeks Payment On Posts Today (~$4 sbd)

Tonight we will receive the 37th weekly payout since the launch of this program. The payout will be about $4 sbd, and it, along with any donations will be used to initiate new leases if the rates stay so favorable. The goal will be to add more new 13 week leases to replace the expiring 13 week leases each week that come due!

We have successfully built up and stabilized our account, and now we should provide a steady and growing upvote if we continue to get your support. The goal is to give the SOG members a real benefit and with your continued efforts to support us, we will continue to build the SP and curation trail.

As mentioned earlier these new donations and earnings of sbd from posts will be reinvested to grow the SP so that the SOG members get a bigger hit to their upvote. We have now started lengthening the leases from 13 to 20 weeks depending on market opportunities.

What you can do if you want to support this project to help Hive account@fulltimegeek and his #stewardsofgondor

#1 You can follow what we are doing and tell your followers and friends through various methods

#2 You can upvote our posts to increase the amount of earnings we have to lease more SP

#3 You can follow our curation trail (84th place already) on steemauto and have your upvote show moral support (even 2 or 3% is something that matters because it all adds up)

#4 You can donate directly like the wonderful people above

#5 You can delegate any of your own SP for any period of time that suits you while this Quest is ongoing

#6 Last but not least, you can thank the individual "friends" that are supporting this effort directly. Sometimes just a stop by and a small note saying you appreciate their help will make a big difference to a donor's day!
