This time I was walking around downtown Caracas, and before arriving at the Plaza El Venezolano, I passed by a very old shopping center called Pasaje Zing where the first escalators of the city are located.
En esta ocasión estuve caminando por el centro de Caracas, y antes de llegar a la plaza El venezolano, pasé por un Centro Comercial muy antiguo llamado Pasaje Zing en donde están las primeras escaleras mecánicas de la ciudad.
This building was inaugurated in the 50's. And it was quite iconic since there was nothing like it in the city.
Este edificio fue inaugurado en los años 50. Y fue bastante icónico ya que no había nada igual en la ciudad.
Further down the street where Simon Bolivar's house is and a very beautiful sculpture of Bolivar with the Negra Hipolita.
Más adelante la calle donde está la casa de Simón Bolívar y una escultura muy hermosa de Bolívar con la Negra Hipólita.
