Hello Everyone,
Right now the cannabis plants are undergoing their final maturation process.
The trichomes are at maximum maturity, with a heavy milky coloration, and the change to amber is starting right on schedule.
This is the stage where many cannabis growers might start chopping the plants down. The pistil coverage is mostly brown, and those trichomes are definitely mature. Harvesting now would not be a mistake entirely, as the bud would still get you super high, but the CBD levels would be lower and the overall experience of the buzz quality would be less.
More CBD (cannabidiol) produces better anxiety relief, enhancement of appetite, and sleep enhancement, as well as some other reported medicinal effects. These are some of the most sought after effects from cannabis, and really comes down to how far cannabis growers are willing to push their grows. It certainly takes patience when the buds look this ready.
As we can see in this photo, these buds are pretty swollen up and dense. They will shrink a bit during the drying process, but overall these are some pretty fat weed nugs.

Both the Big Mack Superstar and the Miracle Mack exhibit some very pretty late bloom characteristics.
Visually they are both breathtaking, but most agree that the Big Mack Superstar has a more impressive visual appeal.
The aroma is impressive with both of these strains as well, but the Big Mack Superstar also prevails as the more sought after for its stronger fruity aroma. The Miracle Mack has more of a gas piney smell.

These girls will be the last in their clone line, and in many ways I will miss both of them a lot. The BMS I will miss the most, but I will still be growing more of this strain in the future!
In fact I have some seedlings growing right now from seed. The sex of these two plants will be unknown until later on in vegetation.
I also have a Green Crack auto-flowering plant that's just now starting to rapid growth.
They're all really happy. I have 22,000 LUX measured for the light intensity, and just gave them a watering today. I expect they are all going to start exploding with growth over the next couple of weeks.
I'll give these girls another thorough trichome check in four or five days, and depending on how things look I will try to push them to 60 days for the total flowering time. They might come down a little earlier if those trichomes start changing quickly to amber.
That's going to do it for today.
What do you all think of how the cannabis plants are looking?
I would love to read your thoughts in the comment section!
