El día de hoy les comparto este precioso porta cosméticos, que necesitaba ya que no tenía un estuche para poder tener y trasladar todo mi maquillaje (que no es mucho jeje) cuando me quedo fuera de casa. Es un bolso muy útil que nos puede servir para guardar muchas cosas más ya que es muy versátil. Espero les guste este blog así que comencemos.
Today I share with you this beautiful cosmetic bag, which I needed because I didn't have a case to carry all my makeup (which is not much hehe) when I'm out of the house. - Tela de Gamuza.
- Tela para forro.
- Tela de tapicería o rígida.
- Cierre de 60 cm.
- Tijeras.

Lo primero que debemos hacer es hacer nuestros patrones en hojas blancas o recicladas.
The first thing to do is to make our patterns on white or recycled sheets of paper.

Cuando los tengamos listos vamos a colocar cada molde sobre las telas de esta manera y se van a recortar al ras.
De la tela de gamuza una de la parte externa y una de la solapa.
When we have them ready we are going to place each mold on the fabrics in this way and they are going to be cut out flush.
From the suede fabric, one from the outside and one from the flap.
Del forro 4 piezas. Una para el lateral, una para la solapa y dos para las tapas.
Of the lining 4 pieces. One for the side, one for the flap and two for the covers.
Dos de tela de material para las tapas de arriba y abajo.
Two of fabric material for the top and bottom covers.
Al final nos deben de quedar 8 piezas.
In the end we should be left with 8 pieces.
Empezaremos a armar nuestro porta cosméticos empezando por la tapa de arriba así que vamos a tomar la pieza de forro y la del material (tela de flores) y la vamos a unir cosiendo en línea recta por todo el contorno, adicional podemos colocarle un orillo con la misma tela de gamuza para que el resultado sea más prolijo. Le vamos a colocar una tira de material resistente para que sea el asa.
We will begin to assemble our cosmetic holder starting with the top lid, so we will take the lining piece and the material piece (flower fabric) and we will sew them together in a straight line all around the contour, additionally we can place a selvage with the same suede fabric so that the result is neater. We are going to place a strip of resistant material to be the handle.
Hacemos lo mismo con la tapa de la parte de abajo, uniendo el forro a la tela por todo el orillo y luego colocarle una tira en el contorno para que se vea mucho mejor.
We do the same with the bottom cover, attaching the lining to the fabric all around the selvage and then place a strip around the edge to make it look much better.
Las dos piezas anteriores la dejamos a un lado y luego empezamos a unir el cierre al forro (lateral) de esta manera. (El cierre lo cambie a uno color rojo porque era más resistente que el blanco que coloque en los materiales).
Solo se va a coser por un lado del cierre.
We leave the two previous pieces aside and then we start to join the zipper to the lining (side) in this way (I changed the zipper to a red one because it was more resistant than the white one I put in the materials).
Only one side of the zipper will be sewn.
Cuando esté listo vamos a unir a la pieza del lateral de gamuza a una tira del mismo material y luego la vamos a unir a la pieza del forro cosiendo por el mismo lado donde se cosió el cierre anterior.
When it is ready we are going to join the suede side piece to a strip of the same material and then we are going to join it to the lining piece sewing on the same side where the previous zipper was sewn.
Unimos la parte que nos falta entre el forro y la gamuza.
We join the missing part between the lining and the suede.
Vamos a tomar las dos piezas de la solapa y la vamos a unir a nuestra pieza anterior la vamos a unir de manera que nos quede la pieza más larga hacia el cierre, ambas piezas deben ir con la parte frontal mirando hacia la pieza.
We are going to take the two pieces of the flap and we are going to join it to our previous piece and we are going to join it in such a way that we have the longer piece towards the zipper, both pieces should be with the front side facing the piece.
La cosemos y luego doblamos a la mitad y enrollamos hasta que podamos unir las piezas de la solapa y al pasar costura nos quedará así.
We sew it and then fold it in half and roll it up until we can join the pieces of the flap and when we sew it, it will look like this.
Luego si le damos vuelta tendremos esta pieza.
Then if we turn it over we will have this piece.
Vamos a dar vuelta de revés y se va a unir la parte de la base, nos podemos ayudar primero con unos alfileres para fijar bien y luego pasamos costura.
We are going to turn inside out and join the base part, we can help ourselves first with some pins to fix it well and then we sew the seam.
Por último vamos a unir la tapa o parte de arriba. Para esto debemos coser en primer lugar a la solapa que sobresale un poco, lo unimos con alfileres y luego pasamos costura. Cuando esté listo podemos unir por todo el cierre y estará listo nuestro porta cosméticos.
Finally we are going to join the cover or top. For this we must first sew to the flap that protrudes a little, we join it with pins and then we sew. When it is ready we can join the entire closure and our cosmetic holder will be ready.
Les recomiendo hacerlo con telas que sean un poquito gruesas o estables para que mantengan la forma, y es de su imaginación escoger los colores que más les guste para hacerlo, yo escogí el rojo como el color de Hive.
