Greetings dear friends and content creators of this great community, happy new year 2023 to all. This time I want to show you a work I did for the community where I live here in Venezuela, about 5 months ago my wife, my daughters and I changed our residence and we wanted to give a little of our artistic talent to the street that passes in front of our house painting a scene of the Christmas crib, in the work we used brushes, cold paint and a pinch of creativity ... let's see the process:
Step 1:
The ideal was to paint the wall first but we did not have the necessary budget so we decided to start the work directly on the wall as you can see it, first graphite pencils were used to mold the image on this rustic surface and then it was outlined with brushes and dark colors like black and brown to then begin to paint the characters of the crib.
The first two to be drawn were Mary the virgin and Joseph the father of Jesus, work that I started on a Monday and finished on a Friday because I did it every time I came home from work for a little while every afternoon.
Step 2:
Once the main characters were drawn, we proceeded to draw the outline of the manger, that is to say; the hut or house where the baby Jesus would be at birth in the company of some animals that in this case will be the sheep that I will show you later....
Step 3:
Already with the dimensions of the drawing of the crib more or less established in terms of height and width of the drawing, we proceeded to draw in the center the main character of the work of art that would be the baby Jesus, in a kind of bed made with grass and wood!
In this part of the work I had the unexpected help of my daughters who proposed me to participate in it by painting with brushes some sections of the drawing under my supervision.
Step 4:
Now it only remained to draw the two sheep that would make up the final part of the work and that would end in a beautiful work of art turned into a mural for the whole community that lives in the area where I live ... I hope you liked this beautiful work that my family and I did with love for the local ornament at Christmas time.
