I think of myself (and others noticed about me) that I do generally pay attention to details. I took it in the good sense, but it can definitely be a bad one, where you keep reminding people all the little things they do wrong, in your opinion. I hope I am as little of that as possible because I know people who are like that, and they are annoying.
Anyway, it's either that lately I have a lot of my mind and I started to shut my mind off to certain details, or they become part of the regular background that presumably never or rarely changes, so I rarely focus on those elements.
Back on the other chain, I had set a background on my profile. I wasn't very interested in setting one, particularly since different front ends want different sizes or recommended aspect ratios for this image, but at some point someone created such a background and shared it for anyone to use. I was one of the people who used it. I wish I knew who created that background image to at least give credits...
Anyway, that background image included the logo of the previous chain.
When we moved to Hive or somewhere after that when I noticed, I removed my background and never added anything in its place.
To my surprise, one of the front ends still showed that old background which I removed long ago. Little did I know I was promoting the legacy chain on my profile, on that front end...
The bad thing about it is that I use that front end every day, and that background is there probably since it went live. Never noticed that logo until yesterday. Where is my attention to details, huh?
As soon as I noticed it, and realizing I have no way of removing it since it was already removed but the front end still showed it, I went to Canva, pushed some buttons, and this is the result:
I like it better how it looks with text on it, one of the reasons why I chose this clean design, to be honest. But depending on the background, some look better displayed separately, and some are suitable for showing profile details on top.
The Hive logo is rotated and the "H" seems to me more like a step on a staircase, and I like it more this way.
Anyway, do you "see" your profile, or are you like me, and months pass and you don't notice something wrong with it?
