So the impasse on Steemit is still live, Justin Sun vs Witnesses and some big whales and it seems this is going nowhere. Now I would like to point out something which makes me re think a lot of things.
First of all I don't trust Justin Sun at all but he bought his share fair and square, that it was ninja mined and that is why soft fork 22.2 was enacted is actually crap most of the top witnesses are there because of the pumpkin or freedom account and I can bet the SP on these accounts is ninja mined, so if witnesses had declined votes from these accounts the ninja mine excuse would be relevant as it is it looks more like an excuse to keep whatever these guys have.
Another part the witnesses and other big accounts have always been compliant with whatever Hard Fork Steemit, however much it screwed the small accounts and was only relevant for the circle jerkers, wanted them to implement regardless of the Steemit stake being ninja mined, so again the ninja excuse is not viable. Also I am seeing people holding out an olive branch to the Korean community so they will turn their backs on Sun, this after holding a campaign to downvote these guys, should have thought of this before HF21.
So I dont trust Justin Sun but I also don't trust the witnesses to me both are just looking for a way to make Steemit a cash cow. And after all the talk and crap we have been hearing the only way out for the witnesses is to hard fork, how many users will go over to the new chain nobody knows but a hard fork is the only way to know that the witnesses are really looking after the blockchain. Kind of strange, having to leave a chain to keep something alive.
