Hello everyone. We welcome Round 55 of this exciting contest, the Reflection Hunters Contest, hosted by . Find out more about this if you still haven't heard of it by clicking on the link here. Do read up and hopefully you can join in the fun.
I happened to visit an art gallery today. It is called La Herencia. I drove my daughter to this art gallery because it is the venue of their group's art exhibition. My daughter is a member of a group of women artists who call themselves Bai Hinang. Bai stands for woman in the old vernacular of our city while Hinang means work. Today was the ingress date, meaning the day when the artworks and materials are to be brought in and arranged for display. Tomorrow, Monday, the 7th of March 2022, is the official start date of the exhibition.
As I was waiting for my daughter arrange her artworks, I noticed the tiled floor of the gallery showing quite a myriad of reflections from the different paintings that were being displayed. This particular reflection I really liked and so I took a couple of pictures and told myself, perfect timing for the Reflection Hunters Contest!
This is the actual painting in case you're interested to know what it looks like.
Beginning tomorrow I will be spending a bit of time accompanying my daughter to the art exhibit and I am so excited because I have the opportunity to take more photos of both shadows and reflections. Yay! The exhibit runs for 7 days.
And that's all folks. Wishing all the participants good luck in the contest. Thanking all the sponsors as well for their support and generosity: ,
