Hive is more than just a platform to blog and earn, it is a home because of the genuine bonding that exists here. I have met amazing people who will go out of their way just to make sure that you are having a smooth experience using Hive.
For a long time, I didn't do anything that had to do with buying or selling Hive, HBD and even the second layer tokens by myself. I always had the mindset that it would be a difficult thing to do until I joined the Neoxian City Discord channel. I spoke with 
I could have used the opportunity to learn how to trade Hive on Binance as well but was reluctant.
I don't know why it took me so long to make my first trade on Binance but it feels good trying it for the first time. I have used other crypto trading platforms but not as big as Binance and I really didn't see the need to make a trade there since I have someone who does it for me.
He was introduced to me when I wanted to trade some HBD sometime ago and we have built a beautiful relationship. He is trustworthy and I feel at ease dealing with him. His rate is moderate but recently, I couldn't reach him and after doing my findings, I got to know he travelled out of the country.
I needed some cash probably two weeks ago so I spoke to 
That day, I asked if she could put me through and she said yes so we agreed for last weekend but the weekend was really tight. She told me to set up my Binance wallet and I did that over the weekend. I have heard people complain about the verification process but it went smoothly and I was happy about that.
This morning, she beeped and suggested that I learn the process today. I was happy and we swung into action immediately. We were on voice call all through the process and I wished I had learned earlier.
It was simpler than I thought but one has to be careful because one mistake can make you lose your coin.

- I clicked on WALLET at the bottom of the screen and clicked on SPOT.
- I used the search icon to find Hive since that's what I want to trade.
- It displayed Hive, I clicked on it and the Deposit icon was there.
- I clicked on deposit and I got an account that will receive the Hive. I was warned to copy the name and transaction memo directly from Binance to prevent any mistakes. I did as instructed and within 3 secs, I got an email that it was successful.
- The Hive reflected in my wallet immediately and that made me feel like a gangster trader. Converting from HIVE to USDT was the next thing so I went to MARKET and searched for HIVE/USDT.
- I clicked on HIVE/USDT and since I am selling my HIVE for USDT, I clicked on SELL.
- I entered my price limit and clicked the 100% button meaning I want to trade all my HIVE for USDT. I clicked on SELL after and it was successful.
- I went on from there to FUNDING, clicked P2P and then SELL.
- There is a bar that helps you filter your buyer easily so I entered the amount I was expecting in Naira and different buyers popped up. I didn't just sell it to any buyer, I checked for the one with a good reputation and a high number of trades.
- There were a lot of them so I chose a trader and clicked on SELL.
- It displayed the picture above, I clicked on ALL since I was selling all the USDT. I chose my registered bank on the Binance App and clicked on SELL WITH 0 FEE.
- I didn't get to chat with the buyer because he was fast to send the money and immediately after I confirmed the payment, I released the coin to him.
Honestly, it was fun. Everything went smoothly because my teacher taught me well.
In the end, she sent me 30 HIVE to trade for her because she wanted to be sure, I got it right. My heart raced and I had to go and check my wallet to be sure that I had up to 30 Hive before doing the test.
Surprisingly, it didn't take me much time and I successfully did the transaction. She was happy and I felt great as well.
After trying it a few more times, I will also help people who want to learn because that's the beauty of acquiring knowledge, we just have to keep sharing/helping others with it.
