Greetings from me. This is my first blog post on Hive, and i'm really happy found this platform. Before that, i'm work as wedding photographer and food photographer, and now I want to share my photograph on this platform. I found out about this platform from a friend of mine who first joined here, his name is @gondrong and him tell me "you can share your portfolio here, and maybe some people would be appreciate your result or maybe some time you can get client from around the world". And now, i'm here with my first post, it never hurts to try something new and we never don't know the result if we don't try.
I would like to a little bit reveal about my self, my name is Gita and i'm live in Indonesia, my age now is 31 years old, and it's not to be old to join in this platform right? 😆
My hobby of course is photography, usually on weekends I have a job to capture wedding ceremonies, but because of covid-19 some weddings were postponed and it made my income decrease so it made me think more about how to find other income and finally my friend told me about this platform. Besides that, my other hobbies are watching movies, anime and also listening to music. Maybe I can also review some of the earphones that I have used to listen to music, and of course these items are cheap items.
Above is example of the results from my food photography that I've done, it's partnership with one of cafe in my town, and i don't get paid to do this photograph, because i'm new in food photograph and i don't have much portfolio for it, so i'm do it for free and what i get is the photo and steak of course.
The tips from me to take this photo like this is using oil or butter to make the meat glowing, so you can still eat the steak. Using natural light and block the light with diffuser to make the light more soften, and than you can add more shadow and reduce the highlight a little bit to make this food more pop-up.
Hopefully by joining this community I can grow and also provide the best photos I've ever done and can inspire beginner photographers here.
# I hope this community can accept me well even with this very short introduction
