Hello there, Hivers! Hope everyone is having a great weekend.
Today, I am going to share a few photos from a side trip in Cameron Highlands in Malaysia. As part of the trip, we dropped by a butterfly garden that leads to a vibrant botanical garden.
These Jade vines are divine! The teal shade of the plant is so refreshing to look at.
Now, from teal to clearer shade of green.
These are the national butterfly of Malaysia, Rajah Brooke's Birdwing. Green and black are such good combination.
Next, we have these insects pretending to be plants!
I almost passed by these creatures if it weren't for the guide who showed it in front of my face. Fascinating, aren't they?
Okay, let's go back to the real plants. How about some shade of purple?
There are lavender farms in Cameron Highlands but that was not part of our itinerary. Good thing they have a few in the botanical garden. I've loved these plants since I was in 4th grade but never really seen a real one until this.
Next photo, a little lighter than the lavender but equally pretty (especially from a girl who loves the shades of purple). Not sure what it is called though.
Woops! Another purple plant (that I don't know the name).
If you know the name of these plants, please let me know in the comment section ;)
They also have sunflower! Imagine the diversity of flora and fauna in this place! Where I live, I need to travel from one farm to another to see different kinds of plants!
We are now transitioning from yellow to the blush colors...
This one look like a chilly plant to me (not so sure though, botanists, help!). They are just so cute!
A vibrant yellow is waving! I feel like any botanical garden is incomplete without roses. This little one is a show stopper! Do you know that yellow rose symbolizes friendship and happiness? Go ahead and give your dear friends one.
Next on the list... Do you think it's a peach rose or a light pink rose? I am confused! Sorry, not an artist :)
Anyway, peach roses mean appreciation or gratitude while pink roses symbolizes appreciation and innocence. It can also be associated with innocent romantic love. How sweet is that!
I am quite positive the roses above are pink!
We have a few more blush shades. Is that a daisy? Let me know if I'm wrong please.
This one stood out from the greens around it. What is this plant though?
Finally, we have the brave color red. None other than a red rose!
Who doesn't love red roses?
Red rose symbolizes love, romance, bravery. Such beautiful words for an equally beautiful flower.
There you go! I hope you enjoyed the different colors of Cameron. I have more photos in my archive but that will do for now. Please enlighten me with the names and information about the plants that I posted.
Have a lovely weekend everybody! See you in the next one!
