Hello everyone,
Happy Sunday to you all. This afternoon I want to share with us how I made a lovely pair of adult male slippers. I used a patterned leather for the straps on Maco and Nora. This particular style is widely loved among adult as it look matured and classy. The style is easy to achieve as it requires assesible and affordable materials.
MATERIALS USED
- Leather of choice
- Leather lining
- Nora
- Gum
- Maco 4
- Fibre
PROCESS
The first thing I did was to construct the sole by cutting out the size on the Nora( in this case I used size 45), reduced the size on another pattern and cut it out on Maco and Fibre. After that, I gummed the Maco and Fibre together and wet the edges on the Nora.
- After applying the wet on the edges, I filled the edges, gummed the heel with the Nora. Then I cut out the pattern for the straps I wanna use, gummed it with lining and cut it out. Finally I lasted the straps at the appropriate points.
- The final step was I filled the edges and gum the Maco-fibre with the wet-Nora. Once that was done, I dyed the edges and polished it.
FINAL LOOKS
- The shoe was made for someone and fortunately I was able to take the picture after he wore it.
