As a local from Davao City, Philippines, I’ve always dreamed of exploring the nearby islands. So, today Saturday, a weekend, I finally made my way to Casas Con Vistas in Samal without any plans,just bring clothes and go.
The moment I stepped off the ferry together with my kids, the fresh sea breeze hit me, and I knew this would be a special day.
The ride to the resort took some time, but when we arrived, I was greeted by a postcard-perfect scene—pristine white sand, crystal-clear water, and lush green palms. I couldn't help but say, “Grabe ka nindot diri!” It felt like stepping into a slice of paradise.
Since we were only there for a day, I decided to make the most of it. First stop: the beach. The water was so inviting, I couldn’t resist wading in. Swimming with the gentle waves while looking out at the endless blue horizon was incredibly relaxing during your stressful week.
Lunch was another highlight. At their cozy Casa Café, I indulged in a serving of grilled tuna belly, perfectly seasoned and so fresh it tasted like it had just been caught. They also served sinigang na hipon, which was both tangy and comforting—perfect for my Pinoy taste buds. To top it off, I had a chilled mango shake that was as refreshing as it was sweet.
After lunch, I explored the grounds. Their cottages, though simple, exuded charm and coziness. Each one had a rustic vibe, blending perfectly with the natural surroundings. I could see why people say this place is perfect for relaxation. Grabeh!!!
The rest of the afternoon was spent lounging by their infinity pool, which overlooked the beach. As I floated on the water, I thought, “Ganito pala ang buhay kapag chill.” Thanks God naka relax. Time seemed to slow down here. Their accommodation blends the comfort with the serene of beachfront setting.
When the sun began to set, the sky turned shades of orange and pink, painting a breathtaking backdrop. I snapped pictures, but honestly, the beauty was something only the heart could capture.
This place, Casas Con Vistas gave me a day to pause, relax, and appreciate life. I left feeling refreshed and more in love with the beauty of my own backyard. I can’t wait to come back—and maybe next time, I’ll stay longer with the family. This place provides a tranquil and luxurious environment to relax and unwind amidst the natural beauty of Samal Island. Thank you because of stressful week, this place makes my day peaceful.
