This time I share the design of a nice shark cartoon, part of a conceptual art that did not see the light of day. Well, maybe its teeth aren't that friendly.
En esta oportunidad les comparto el diseño de un agradable tiburón de caricatura, parte de un arte conceptual que no vio la luz del día. Bueno, quizás sus dientes no sean tan amistosos.
I used the following materials and tools:
- Recycled paper
- Color pencil
- HP Photosmart C3180 Scanner
- Desktop PC
- Adobe Photoshop CC 2019 Software
Los materiales y herramientas usados fueron los siguientes:

First, I made the sketch by hand on a recycled paper sheet. I used a color pencil so that the scanner had no problem registering the image, which can happen if I use a graphite pencil.
Primero, realicé el boceto a mano en una hoja de papel de reciclaje. Usé un lápiz de color para que el escáner no tuviera problemas en registrar la imagen, cosa que puede suceder si uso un lápiz de grafito.
The next step was to scan the image and open it in the Photoshop design Software. I traced the outline of the drawing with the pencil tool on a new layer, the result is shown below. I also drew a beach as a background separately.
El siguiente paso fue escanear la imagen y abrirla en el Software de diseño Photoshop. Tracé el contorno del dibujo con la herramienta lápiz en una capa nueva, el resultado se muestra a continuación. También dibujé una playa como fondo por separado.
Then I added color to the illustration.
Luego agregué color a la ilustración.
This is the result after adding some effects and shadows.
