This year, I decided to plant some tobacco plants since the weather in my area is favorable for cultivation and it doesn't require much care. They can grow beautiful plants even with little attention. My intention is to use the tobacco for personal consumption, and I have already tried it with positive results, which you can see in this post. Now I mix it with the tobacco I buy at the store 50/50, although I don't always have my own tobacco.
Recently, I harvested the two plants when the flowers started to bloom after reading that it was a good time to do so. After cleaning the leaves with water, I hung them to dry. I had to reuse a wooden structure that I had on my terrace. Until now, I hung it where I dry my marijuana buds because I didn't have buds. As soon as I have them, I will have to find another place. Everything won't fit.
When I cut the leaves, I saw that new tobacco plants were sprouting and that the cannabis plant was still there, although it didn't look very good. However, I will leave it in case it grows a little more.
I didn't cut all the leaves because I want to keep the flowers to attract bees and hope to get new seeds.
Este año, decidí plantar algunas plantas de tabaco, ya que el clima de mi zona es favorable para el cultivo y no requiere de muchos cuidados. Pueden crecer hermosas plantas incluso con poca atención. Mi intención es utilizar el tabaco para autoconsumo y ya lo he probado, con resultados positivos, puedes verlo en esta publicación. Ahora lo mezco con el que compro en el estanco al 50%, aunque no siempre tengo tabaco propio.
Recientemente, coseché las dos plantas cuando empezó a salir la flor, tras leer que era un buen momento para hacerlo. Después de limpiar las hojas con agua, las colgué para secar. Tuve que reutilizar una estructura de madera que tenía en la terraza. Hasta ahora las colgaba donde seco los cogollos de maría porqué no tenía cogollos. Como pronto tendré he tenido que buscar otro sitio. Todo no cabe.
Al cortar las hojas, vi que estaban saliendo nuevas plantas de tabaco y que la planta de cannabis todavía estaba allí, aunque no tenía muy buen aspecto. Sin embargo, la dejaré por si crece un poco más.
No corté todas las hojas ya que quiero mantener la flor para atraer a las abejas y espero obtener semillas nuevas.
