I saw someone levitate in the air 20 feet! There was a lot of air flying around, a loud chopping noise, and he was surrounded by this massive beast with spinning blades at the top! I know, completely unbelievable, but I swear!
I take testimony as evidence, though it may be evidence of a delusion. Simply weigh probabilities to see if it is worth getting more reliable evidence.
In the era of fabricating evidence, it seems that gaming rule-of-thumb standards is at play. Things like, "His DNA was on the weapon, his cell phone was in the area, he didn't like the guy, he's guilty!" These may be wise in a vacuum, but they are the precise points to fabricate for a patsy.
This is why I take every seemingly outlandish claim seriously. These get flipped around so fast that you look a fool for believing and disbelieving. Might as well try to be right.
