Birthdays are much more fun when celebrated at the beach, right? We recently got invited to a birthday party of my co-teacher's husband. It was celebrated at Maravillosa Park Tabuelan.
From Tuburan, we traveled for almost 30 minutes to reach brgy. Tabuelan. We have been here a lot of times and the place is already a familiar place to us.
They chose to stay on a public beach which had no entrance fee but you'll just have to rent the table and chairs.
You will stop by here at the Brgy.Hall of Maravilla, Tabuelan. This is where the Maravillosa Public Beach is located.
Maravilla Covered Court
Their covered court is not the usual court wherein the children will play around and have fun, rather, their covered court is filled with food stalls selling various snacks and delightables.
Maravilla Barangay Hall
This is their barangay hall where all the settlements in the place takes place. Here in the Philippines, we have barangays which is a unit of society where it is leaded by a barangay captain.
We waited here as my partner parked our vehicle. There are a lot of parking spaces both for motorcycles and cars. There are enough space for everyone. This is one of the businesses that boomed in the place, a parking space for the beach-goers and customers of various beach spots in the area.
It has been a tradition to bring something whenever we attend birthday parties, so for today we decided to bring two bottles of 1.5 Liter soda. Just to add up their prepared drinks.
WELCOME TO MARAVILLOSA PUBLIC BEACH, MARAVILLA, TABUELAN, CEBU, PHILIPPINES
My son immediately struck a pose at the signage and from here, you could already clearly see the white sand and pristine beach of Brgy. Maravilla.
If you were to ask me, their beach here is even way better than the beach from Moalboal. The only difference is that Moalboal has a wide variety of underwater creatures that are accessible due to their snorkeling activities.
But if you were to compare the sand, the clarity of the water, Maravillosa Beach is indeed much beautiful and serene.
If you are planning to visit the northern part of Cebu, you might want to consider adding Maravilla to your bucket list.
From Cebu City, you can ride a bus from SM CEBU North Bus Terminal and ride a bus going to Tabuelan. From Tabuelan you can ride a motorcycle going to Maravilla.
If you failed to bring swimming equipment and floaties, no need to worry because there are people selling it and walking around the beach.
Maravillosa Beach is a public beach but in the area, there are a lot of private beaches and resorts so if you are planning to have an overnight stay, you can go from here, Maravillosa Beach then just ask around and the locals will be guiding you as to where the resorts and the rooms for rent are located.
My boys struck some poses and just look at that fine sand they are stepping on, just a proof of how pristine the beach is.
While waiting for my co teacher and their family to arrive, we hang around the beach front and my son hurried my feet into the sand. It was so much fun.
A random dog stopped by to say hi and she was the cutest dog I have seen for today. She wants to be petted and cuddled and it did not walked around rather it stayed with us for a while. Maybe she was waiting for us to give her food.
It was my co-teacher's husband’s birthday. They already came and we took some photos before it was time for lunch.
They prepared some of our favorite Filipino foods.
After lunch, we had a dip and it was just so much fun.
To birthdays and celebrations with friends! Ciao!♡
