My wife had this bag for a long time, but it got old and the body didn’t look nice again. The material is flexible, and all the glitters on it had washed away, so it was looking dull. Instead of throwing it away, I decided to give it a new look. I did not remove the original body of the bag because it was still strong. What I did was to use another material to cover it. I got a purple material and used it to mat the whole body of the bag.
To do this, I first applied Evostick gum on the body of the purse. After applying the gum, I allowed it to stay a little before placing the purple material on it. Then I carefully spread the material on the body and pressed it well so it would stick properly.
After that, I started coupling the bag bit by bit, making sure everything was arranged well. I also fixed the inside so it would look neat.
To make it more beautiful, I added a small design. I cut out a flower and pasted it on the front of the bag using the same gum. That simple touch really changed the look.
At the end, I was happy with the result. The old bag now looks fresh again in purple, and my wife can use it again. It even looks better than before.
