Como es tradición, en el mes de abril, dependiendo de las fechas del calendario, se conmemora la Pasión, Muerte y Resurrección de Jesús. Tradición esta, que se inicia, el Domingo de Ramos, 13 de abril, y culmina el día 20, Domingo de Resurrección

En el mundo, cada país acostumbra celebrar estas fechas, de acuerdo a sus tradiciones. Lo que se suele mantener intacto es la fecha.
En algunos países, las Iglesias, quienes están más comprometidas, celebran sus misas, procesiones y ceremonias como bautizos, y otras actividades como la representación del Viacrucis de Jesús, durante la Pasión, donde se involucra directamente a la población Católica guiada por la fe.
