Do you want to earn money by just watching videos? That sounds crazy. Believe it or not, this type of job exists in the digital age, and adhering to the specification is easy to follow. The only thing that you need to do is to watch videos and delete them if it is unnecessary, and you can already earn instantly. Having that kind of occupation seems promising, but I swear it will never be a piece of cake. The upcoming movie, directed by one of the notable directors in the Philippine horror genre, will help us understand the nature of their work.
The name of the job that I was referring to in the title is called Content Moderator. These are the type of employees who are watching gory, brutal, and disturbing videos before they can be seen in public. The job description seems effortless. However, if we think outside the box, exposure to that job could lead the employees to psychological disorders like depression, PTSD, suicidal thoughts, etc.
While watching TikTok a few months ago, this video caught my interest. It is a personal review of a Filipino influencer famous for creating movie reviews on that mentioned video-streaming platform.
After viewing the related videos, I felt like I was exposed to their environment, and reality crept into me that these kinds of jobs exist. If I were not mistaken, I watched this video when there was a power interruption, and it was already dark. After a few hours of overthinking. I couldn't help to be scared, which made me trouble sleeping.

The story revolves around the death of Lyra's colleague and her work as a content moderator.
Expectations
I'm expecting this movie will be an eye-opener for audiences who don't know yet about the nature and traumatic stress of the "Deleters." It also shows some of the sample clips that they're reviewing. I'm amazed at the trailer since you can easily find the thrill. I wish this movie would be a massive box office hit, mainly because it stars one of the most popular actresses in the Philippines.
Movie Review
We'll find out soon! I hope this will be released on Netflix.
Trailer Reaction
After I watched the trailer, I became so excited since this thriller has a sense of a true story. Not a fan of Philippine horror movies, but this one will be included in one of my bucket lists. I have high expectations that this movie could make thrill because of the few jumpscares, and they also portray the contents that they were deleting. Should I write my own review of the documentary about this job? I'm a bit skeptical where would I write it.
