Prompt First Sentence: She was looking, first to the right, then to the left - just like her forefathers had taught her.
This was her duty, her family legacy. She would see it through the end, even if it costs her life.
She had no one to stop her from her rampage; her brethren massacred by the very beings she planned on slaughtering tonight.
Moonlight glinted on the weapons she carried on herself; Silver- the only thing that proved to be deadly to these monsters.
She was ready, and there was no better time for bloodshed than under a full moon.

Prompt 2
The scratching noises became louder and louder and it sounded like wood was splintering.
Maybe this was the end, maybe it was time for her to meet her Maker. But no, she wasn't ready just yet. She would annihilate every last one of them even after her last breath.
She would not die, not tonight, not yet.
Gritting her teeth, she slowly began to rise up from her slumped position on the wall as she pointed her gun at locked doorway.
It wouldn't hold much longer, and she knew she only had one bullet left but she refused to use it on herself. It was kill or be killed.
She slowly removed her hand from her bloodied side and shakily gripped her gun with both hands to hold it steady. Briefly glimpsing the crescent moon engraved on the now bloody metal, she couldn't help but pray for a miracle. If only she had more time, if only she could avenge them.
Just then, the door banged open and a single shot loudly rang out.

Prompt 3
blood dripping
She was sure it was blood. It was the only thing that surrounded her now as she lay staring heavenward amidst the gore and destruction.
She wasn't sure if she was dead or alive since she wasn't feeling any pain, or maybe that was part of dying.
Though she wasn't sure if seeing things was also part of the process, as she watched a tree slowly sprouting out of the bloody earth where she lay upon; its branches growing thick and filling up with silvery leaves as it seemingly stretched towards the moon.
Faintly, she heard a voice as well, it seemed so far away but she was sure it also said her name.
"This is not the end for you, Natalia."

Author's note: This is a spin-off from one of the series that I previously wrote. I guess you could consider this the prequel to the character of Natalia.
