Happy Hive Power Up Day for everyone! It is still great to see a strong community that survives another bear market and keeps building day and night. Hive has achieved tons of things in its recent history and more "titles" will be acquired when it reaches the ultimate form.
Hive is seen as one of the best GameFi Chains with WAX blockchain. On the other hand, Hive is the only existing blog-2-earn platform that operates at the top of a blockchain and rewards people with cryptocurrencies. One last point is that Hive is recognized as the base of free speech in the written and oral form of content.
All these enlightenments have taken place within 2 years of time which can be named as early stages of Hive ecosystem. What about Ledger Support on HIVE?
Another Layer of Security on Hive
I believe everyone knows about the security layers of Hive Private Keys and, in my opinion, it is the most secure model in crypto so far. From Posting Key to Owner Key, each key a unique attribute that is providing additional use case.
While the permission model is already awesome, there will be another layer thanks to Ledger support!
Mass Adoption and Trustworthiness
Crypto investors know fact that the projects are reviewed for a long while before they are technically supported by Ledger. It has always been a good sign for a project to be picked as a possible investment if it is already supported by Ledger or another cold storage wallet.
Hive is listed on a couple of centralized exchanges and there is still a limited audience that we can reach to. With Ledger, I expect both centralized exchange listings and idle investments on our project. A new milestone is achieved with Ledger support.
HBD will be Discovered
I think the existing market cap of HBD is nothing all considering its 20% APR in stablecoin. Any investor who would like to buy HIVE from external markets or directly makes purchases of pHBD / bHBD / HBD on Hive ecosystem will be able to make operations of stablecoin investment, as well.
Thanks to HBD Stabilizer project and Leo Bridge that actively uses Multi-token bridge to provide arbitrage opportunities to investors, now we have a solid stablecoin that is backed by HIVE.
All in all, official Ledger support is a great improvement for the sake of our growing ecosystem. Time to shine 😉
