The Bumble Bee Turned 4

Oh la la! It's the new week, whew!

It was someone's Hive birthday yesterday, and she didn't even realize it. Just how time flies!

Yes, the bumble bee turned 4, although she disappeared soon after her account creation and remained an absentee for months until around November 2021 when she said, "Okay, this is it!" and kept on since.

She is grateful to Hivebuzz for reminding her about it. The milestone would have gone unnoticed without the gamification feature, courtesy of Arcange and his team. So thank you, Gracias, Maraming Salamat, Merci, Domo Arigato🙏

She was completely gobsmacked when she received the badge. Four years already, and she's still here? Whoa! Well, Hive has its charms, and she cannot get away with it😁

Kidding aside, let me take this chance to thank everyone who, in one way or another, made (and still makes) my Hive journey fun, memorable, and meaningful. SALAMUCH (thank you so much).

I may have already confessed before that this chain is my cyber haven. While I have created accounts on other platforms (i.e, Deso, Torum, etc), I have not devoted as much time and energy to them as I did (and still do) in this blockchain.

Here, I met new acquaintances and friends, joked with some, traveled the world through other people's lenses or photos, discovered things, glimpsed other cultures, felt sad, laughed hard, smiled, grinned, cringed, and whatever else.

And something weird happened too (in a good way). While I remained anonymous or faceless, I opened my heart and soul, poured my thoughts, struggles, and joys through my posts and comments — something I could not do anywhere (even in the real world where the introvert side of me prevails most of the time).

On-chain, I have become a chatty lil fella. That's just what I think anyway, lol! In real life, I'm still the meek, timid, or shy gal who couldn't even converse well with others, unless they are family or close friends. While I act differently in the two worlds, it's still me — the stories, the photos, the raw feelings, and stuff.

Yep, it's been quite an adventure — learning, sharing, and what can I say, earning too! Reading back some of my posts (out of 1,280), it dawned on me that I have been recording or documenting my life publicly, more so, on a blockchain that I believe would stand the test of time.

How cool is that! my thoughts exclaimed. To be honest, when I signed up here four years ago, I never thought I would stay this long. Yet here I am still rambling. And if you're getting fed up or bored, I'm sorry but I ain't going anywhere, lol😜 Well, unless the Heavens call me elsewhere, who am I to object or resist? I pray it won't be soon, because I'm loving this life and excited to discover and experience more of its magic.🙏

I can't put everything into words, but thank you again. And here's to the next 4 years and beyond!🍾🍻🥂
