Hello everyone,
This is the sixth post in my travel series #DiscoverBangla on Hive. My post today is about the most famous places in Mujibnagar. Hope you like it.
Today in my post I will show the famous place of Mujibnagar which reminds people of 1971. Because there are things there that remind you of 1971. The day when the Pakistan invasion force committed atrocities on the innocent people of Bangladesh. How many mothers and sisters ruined their honor and raped them. How many raped his wife in front of her husband. How many fathers killed their children in front of them. Today I will talk to you about that and share with you some pictures I took of the place.
Today I am back with a travel post for you. Today I will show you some scenes of Mujibnagar. In my previous post, I saw some statues of you who played a role in the war that took place between Bangladesh and Pakistan. Today I will show you the most famous thing in Mujinagar and why Mujibnagar has become so famous. You can see here a large map of Bangladesh. This map was made a long time ago. Here it shows how and where the war took place in Bangladesh. Here it shows how the people of Bangladesh fought in the war that took place in 1971, how they tortured them, and how the honor of hundreds of mothers and sisters was destroyed.
This place has big walls all around and there are three or four towers where you can see the whole view of this place and you can see where the statues are kept. This place was actually amazing to see but no one is allowed to enter inside because it is forbidden to enter here. Only VIP persons are not allowed to enter here. This Mujibnagar is famous for this map of Bangladesh. Everyone comes to this place to see this thing. This place is really amazing if you come here you will like it a lot and you will understand how beautiful the place is.
We can see some statues here, basically a man is giving some speech and everyone is listening. This is about 1971 when the Pakistani occupation forces invaded Bangladesh. Then the people of Bangladesh participated in this war and they all started getting training on how to fight, how to get these trainings and there were big leaders among them who played a lot of roles in this Bangladesh war. Here I can also see that some people are leaving here. Those who are leaving Bangladesh. This is because of the Pakistani occupation forces and their oppression, they are leaving Bangladesh and going to India. There are also hundreds of people who have left Bangladesh and gone to India only because of the oppression of the Pakistanis. The people of Bangladesh were subjected to a lot of oppression.
In the next statues, we can see some people fighting. These are those who fought with the Pakistani occupying forces. Because of them, we got an independent Bangladesh today. Many people died in this war, the honor of hundreds of mothers and sisters was destroyed, their sons were lost from the father's chest, their children were lost from the mother's chest. This war was a tragic war. The Pakistani occupying forces tortured and tortured the innocent people of Bangladesh very severely. That is why the people of Bangladesh were forced to fight with them. Many people of Bangladesh died in this war.
This war in Bangladesh was a very terrible war. Because the people of Bangladesh did not know how to fight, how to fight. At that time, the Pakistani occupying forces attacked the innocent people of Bangladesh. At that time, the people of Bangladesh had nothing to do. They killed them. They destroyed the honor of mothers and sisters, how many children were taken from their mothers' breasts, how many wives had their husbands taken away. The Pakistani occupying forces tortured the people of Bangladesh very innocently.
Then, looking at the statues, we understand that some people are lying dead here. These people are those who died fighting. Those who sacrificed their lives to liberate Bangladesh. Those who wanted to see Bangladesh as an independent country. Those who fought with the Pakistani occupying forces until the end of their lives. Because of their sacrifice of life, we have independent Bangladesh today. Then we see some statues where some people are leaving with their belongings. These people are those who are leaving Bangladesh due to the torture of the Pakistani forces. Because they were tortured so much that a person cannot bear it. So they are leaving this Bangladesh.
There was a huge war in Bangladesh. Many people of Bangladesh died in this war. It is said that about 3 million Bangladeshis died. But I cannot say how true this is. But I have heard that about 200,000 to 300,000 people died. In exchange for their lives, we have got independent Bangladesh today. If they had not sacrificed their lives, we would not have got this independent Bangladesh.
Then we can see the statues that many people are fighting here. Because many people of Bangladesh participated in this war. Many people participated who did not know anything about fighting, how to fight, how to hold weapons, they did not know all these things. But still they took up arms to liberate Bangladesh and fought with Pakistan. In exchange for their lives, Bangladesh was liberated.
Then I went forward from here. There I saw a pillar. Where Joy Bangla was written and on top of the pillar a hand was holding a gun. This means that in 1971, when people did not know how to fight, what weapons or how to shoot, they did not know anything. Even then they took training. They fought with the Pakistani occupying forces. Maybe this thing was made as a symbol of that.
Then I went a little further and saw some pictures here. These pictures are basically made of tiles. Here there was a picture of a tiger drawn, then a picture of a lotus, a picture of a dowel and a few more pictures. These looked very beautiful. Because it was not drawn with any paint, it was basically made of tiles. It looked really beautiful. I liked it very much.
If you ever come to this place, then you must see that there are many mango trees here. This place is full of mango trees all around. There are so many mango trees here that you cannot count them. There are so many mango trees. Many people are old and it is very nice to see these mango trees. For this reason, there is always shade here and the sun does not hit the body. For which it can be called a picnic spot. Many people also come here for picnics and this place is the most perfect place to rest.
And finally we went to a place where there are many pillars. There are a total of 20 to 21 pillars there. These pillars are very big and some pillars are small. I went in front of the pillars and took some pictures of myself and climbed on the pillars. It was actually very interesting. Coming here I got to see many things that I may have never seen before. If you ever come here, you will like it very much and you will see many things.
That's it for today!I appreciate your time and attention. At the end of this post, you can comment and let me know how you liked my post and if you have any questions, I will try to answer them inshaAllah. I hope you like it. See you soon..
