In my previous post, I've shared about coastline view of Palambak Besar Island, a quite big island which very suitable to spend time out from the hustle and bustle of life. Different from the previous one, today's post will show an island that is known as a holiday destination.
Panjang Island is located near Balai Island, the central administration of the Banyak Islands. Using a speedboat only took less than 10 minutes to reach that island. The island is elongated and quite dense with buildings, both cafes, and inns.
One thing that I noticed from all the islands that I visit in this archipelago, is that I will always find a landmark of the island name.
As usual, on most beaches, we will always find coconut trees. Here on Panjang Island, I spot that these plants grow all over the island which makes it even better. The local people even made its wood as the chair in the beach.
During my time on this island, I also have a chance to swim for a while and I found out that the contour is very flat with fine solid sand and clear water. The flat contour is quite wide which makes it perfect for children to swim around.
The weather was too cloudy at that time, but I still enjoy the overall scenery. I believe that it would be more amazing if the cloud is not too cloudy. That's all about Panjang Island, I hope you like them and see you on the other post!
