This week's theme is all about EGGS.

And I decided to share with you a special delicacy from Vietnam. This egg is called Ho Vit Lon. What is unique about this dish is that the inside of the egg is actually a chicken bird's embryo. As you bite into the egg, you will find the chicken partially shaped; you can even taste it feathers and small soft bones if you're lucky.
This dish is also known as Balut in the Philippines and it taste superbly delicious. Served with mint or basil leaf, you can also sprinkle a dash of salt or soya sauce and pepper to give it a bit of flavour. Just be careful, as you bite it, it's juices flow out and it's yummy. I understand it's not everyone's cup of tea but I love it! 😍
