A veces la vida nos da la oportunidad de estar presentes en los acontecimientos que hacen historia.
Me ocurrió con el nacimiento de HIVE, por aquel entonces todos estábamos en la antigua cadena, pero un conjunto de decisiones tomadas por quien pretendió romper con la base de la descentralización nos obligó a tomar una decisión trascendental, montar tienda aparte y comenzar un nuevo proyecto.
Por cuestiones de principios no tuve duda en apoyar a los que en aquel momento promovieron la separación, era una jugada arriesgada porque no se sabía qué podría pasar, pero al final las cosas salieron muy bien y HIVE se consolida cada día como un proyecto exitoso. Para mí es un gran orgullo estar en ese grupo de fundadores de esta Blockchain.
El pasado 5 de julio de nuevo HIVE me dio la oportunidad de estar presente en otro acontecimiento histórico.
Ese día el amigo 
Previamente Manuel y los otros organizadores habían hecho los arreglos necesarios para que el dueño del local “Pi coffee Burger”, ubicado en el sector San Jacinto, de Maracay, pudiera recibir los pagos en nuestra cripto moneda.
La actividad contó con un buen número de participantes interesados y entusiastas del mundo cripto, para ellos también era la primera vez que iban a hacer pagos de este tipo.
Durante el evento se llevaron a cabo un conjunto de charlas informativas; en la primera parte se habló generalidades sobre el entorno Bitcoín luego les tocó el turno a los amigos de HIVE.
Manuel comenzó la primera intervención y presentó a varios de los muchachos de la gran comunidad que él dirige, SWC (Street Workout Community) quienes compartieron su experiencia en HIVE.
Fue muy emocionante escuchar de boca de estos jóvenes cómo HIVE les está cambiando la vida y les ha dado un propósito para seguir adelante. Es un trabajo muy meritorio el que hace

Al final de las intervenciones se procedió a la creación de cuentas y Manuel hizo la respectiva transferencia de recursos para que los asistentes pudieran postear su primera publicación en HIVE.
Este fue un gran momento porque todo el equipo de los hivers presentes se dedicó a orientar a las personas para que pudieran hacer sus publicaciones. En verdad fue lindo y emocionante sentir que todos podemos conectarnos para impulsar el fortalecimiento de nuestra casa HIVE.
Estoy seguro que todas esas personas, que no nos conocían hasta entonces, se llevaron una buena impresión de HIVE, porque vieron trabajando a un equipo de hivers preparados para orientarlos de la mejor manera y con capacidad de responder todas sus dudas.
Este es el segundo evento donde coinciden amigos hivers del Estado Aragua, que por diferentes circunstancias no habían podido trabajar de forma mancomunada, el anterior fue una actividad organizado por los muchachos de @hiveArte.
Es indudable que cuando estamos todos juntos se forma una sinergia que potencia por mucho las capacidades individuales. El trabajo en equipo fortalece el sentido de pertenencia entre nosotros, y brinda a los de afuera una imagen de HIVE como un sitio donde pueden encontrar gente unida, lo que sin duda los motiva a formar parte de nuestra casa.
Con esta actividad se dio un gran paso, todavía falta un buen trecho para masificar el uso del HBD como medio de pago en nuestra localidad, pero lo importante es que tenemos un gran equipo de gente dispuesta a trabajar para potenciar el crecimiento de HIVE.

Sometimes life gives us the opportunity to be present at events that make history.
It happened to me with the birth of HIVE, at that time we were all in the old chain, but a set of decisions taken by those who tried to break with the foundation of decentralization forced us to make a momentous decision, to set up a separate store and start a new project.
It was a risky move because we did not know what would happen, but in the end things turned out very well and HIVE is consolidating every day as a successful project. For me it is a great pride to be in that group of founders of this Blockchain.
Last July 5th HIVE again gave me the opportunity to be present at another historic event.

Previously Manuel and the other organizers had made the necessary arrangements so that the owner of the local "Pi coffee Burger", located in the San Jacinto sector of Maracay, could receive payments in our cryptocurrency.
The activity was attended by a good number of participants interested and enthusiastic about the crypto world, for them it was also the first time they were going to make payments of this type.
During the event, a series of informative talks were held; in the first part, generalities about the Bitcoin environment were discussed, then it was the turn of HIVE's friends.
Manuel began the first intervention and introduced several of the guys from the great community he leads, SWC (Street Workout Community) who shared their experience in HIVE.

At the end of the speeches we proceeded to the creation of accounts and Manuel made the respective transfer of resources so that attendees could post their first publication in HIVE.
This was a great moment because the entire team of hivers present was dedicated to guiding people so that they could make their publications. It was really nice and exciting to feel that we can all connect to promote the strengthening of our HIVE house.
I am sure that all those people, who did not know us until then, had a good impression of HIVE, because they saw working a team of hivers prepared to guide them in the best way and with the capacity to answer all their doubts.
This is the second event where hivers friends from the State of Aragua, who for different circumstances had not been able to work together, the previous one was an activity organized by the guys from @hiveArte.
There is no doubt that when we are all together a synergy is formed that enhances by far the individual capabilities. Teamwork strengthens the sense of belonging among us, and gives outsiders an image of HIVE as a place where they can find united people, which undoubtedly motivates them to be part of our home.
With this activity a big step was taken, there is still a long way to go to massify the use of HBD as a means of payment in our locality, but the important thing is that we have a great team of people willing to work to promote the growth of HIVE.
