For today's episode, I will bring you in a newly opened milktea shop here in our hometown, Surigao City.
I am honestly kind of picky when it comes to milktea flavors and ambiance of the shop. Just today, my friend invited me to have a chit chat since we haven't seen each other since the pandemic started. She brought me to this newly opened milktea shop and this place looks elegant unlike any other typical milktea stores.
As a freelancer working remotely, I seek to find drinking places, coffee shops or restaurants that are good for people who can work comfortably for hours. I always find it very productive to work outside than just staying at home. And probably for my upcoming contents, I might be sharing more coffee shops and restaurants that are also good for working people to stay in.
At first, I thought that this milktea shop is expensive since the ambiance looks classy. It has varnished wooden tables and chairs which makes the place looks neat and organized. It is quite spacious too which can accommodate almost twenty people but I guess since we are in a pandemic, they limit the number of guests in a day. They also have a private room for guests who would want to organize events. The place is well lit which I like the most. I easily get lured by cafes or restaurants with cool lighting which could make me less sleepy and good in photos.
We ordered the large cheesecake flavored milktea which costs 115.00 pesos (2.34 US Dollar) not bad for its size and volume. Actually, it's one of the most reasonable milktea shops that I've tried here in our hometown by far. I wish I could try their other milktea flavors next time. Anyway as I expected the cheesecake milktea tasted a bit too sweet for me but my friend did like it very much.
When it comes to packaging, it doesn't really look very attractive. Aside from it looks like just any other typical milkteas, I don't like the idea that they use plastic in their packaging. I wish they could come up to a more environmental friendly cups for both dine in and take out.
