Good day, my dear hivers!
So now, I’m going to share with you the continuation of my blog from yesterday.
After visiting my grandpa’s grave, we went to the Shrine of Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal. But on our way home from the cemetery, I really thought we were heading straight home since I had my earpods on. It was at the moment when we took a turn to the shortcut to the Shrine that I actually realized we were stopping by.
I felt so happy now that we stopped as it had been quite a while since our last visit.
As we continued up to the shrine, a candle vendor shouted asking if we wanted to buy, but my companions said we should just buy from the ones at the top since there were sellers there too.
So we continued heading toward the shrine and when we finally arrived, I went straight to Mama Mary’s altar and prayed to her..
A few minutes later, I went down because my mom was already lighting candles.
After that, I went to the side of the shrine and took a selfie with Mama Mary in the background.
I also had individual pictures taken of me.
And of course, we took the chance to have a group picture.
This place is really relaxing, seriously.
After that, we went to the stairs. Actually, there are two options for people going there—it’s either you walk up the stairs or take the shortcut where vehicles and motorcycles can pass through.
For us, we preferred taking the shortcut since it was already noon and we hadn’t had lunch yet.
On our way back, I went down the stairs to take some pictures of the view because it’s really beautiful here—so clear!
And that’s all for now, my dear Hivers!
