am i a rain child or what?
rain came with me when i went back to tokyo.
i was even excited to have my first night walk after the long break, but rain struck.
i must be a rain child.
or is summer just ending soon?
it was getting colder, i wonder how to have my night walks when the weather gets colder.
i would have wanted to have my walk but that is impossible in this weather, so i went to the gym instead.
there was quite a difference in policy this time, we no longer have tissues to wipe machines and equipment after use.
instead, we are given these small towels which we keep with us until we leave the gym.
it was the gym's simple response to sdg or sustainable development goals, goals set by members of the united nations as steps for prosperity and development while preserving the environment.
using tissue is indeed not the best way, imagine how many tissues are thrown in a day.
i salute our gym for having the initiative.
and it can probably save them a bit of money aw well, definitely a win-win.
before doing anything, i took a comprehensive weight check (using the machine).
wew!
2 kilograms gained after a week of festivities.
and the worst part, those 2 kilos were mostly fat, my fat percentage has shot back up to 22.7%.
not that the machine is accurate but it is something worth noting, i hopped on the treadmill for an hour long intensive fat burning walking course.
at least, this baseball game has kept me entertained while walking.
after a few minutes of rest, my gym buddy and i proceeded with a back routine.
a week's break was definitely harder for me, my muscles have woken up from a long slumber.
i was definitely struggling by the end of the routine, reserved power were all used up.
"back" is very sore while i am writing this entry, and "back" is something i don't usually struggle.
if this happened to my "back", i don't know how much pain i will be in for the "leg", "chest", and even "arms" day.
i need all the luck and prayers to survive those.
here is the back routine for today
pull ups (10 x 12)
barbell bent-over row (70kg x 3 x 12) <- from 65kg
shrugs (55kg x 3 x 20)
chest supported dumbbell row (35kg x 3 x 12)
single arm seated row (38kg x 3 x 12 per arm)
a set each of the following with no rest between sets:
= face pull (18kg x 3 x 12)
= straight arm pulldown (227kg x 3 x 12)
reverse fly (32kg x 3 x 12)
lat pulldown (50kg x 3 x 12)
i will end this entry for now, my fitness journey is about to go intense again.
as always, AMPING KANUNAY!
