There are many people out there who has great singing voice. Some of them are confident to sing while others hide their singing talents. We'll just learn about their beautiful singing voice if pressured to sing or inadvertently heard them singing while they're unaware someone is listening.
Of course music, and so is singing, is universal. Even non-singers has their own music album released in the mainstream, so that doesn't invalidate people who doesn't have a vocal talent to sing in videoke or karaoke. That's evident for many Filipinos as they love singing regardless of the voice. Videokes are everywhere, and it's becoming easier to avail of a microphone and a speaker which you'll just connect on your phone through Bluetooth connection, and search a song on YouTube. If you only love singing including current hits, YouTube is a great place to search songs.
Others prefer videoke machine because of the scores that will appear after singing. Probably, it will boost someone's confidence despite the not-so-beautiful voice. The downside is you can't find current songs on the list if the software of the machine is not updated.
Still, we all have the right to sing. Never mind becoming a professional singer. Just sing your heart out, but of course, we have the responsibility to consider people especially if it's creating disturbances. Lol!
