Abilities Useful in Lost Magic Ruleset
Hello Jabeelievers!
Magic is lost. Your sorcerers and magicians are out of the picture. They cannot aid you in this battle. What can you do? Are you lost as well? Don't worry I got you. Here are some useful abilities your monsters can use when the omnipotent magic is gone. And also, at the end of this post, I will showcase a battle with one of the abilities that I am sure most people aren't aware of. But first, a little bit of ruleset introduction.
Lost Magic Ruleset
In this ruleset, you cannot use any monsters with magic attack. Even those units that has secondary magic attack are out of the options as well. At this point, melee and ranged units are your only options.
Useful Abilities
| Ability | Description | Use Case |
|---|---|---|
 | Thorns | Melee attackers will receive damage. Use this ability when you knew your opponent will use mostly melee attackers with opportunity and sneak. |
 | Demoralize | Minimizes melee damage. When thorns cannot be used, this is useful to somehow mitigate enemy damage. |
 | Headwinds | Minimizes ranged attacks. Your opponent will surely employ one or two ranged monsters at the back. Minimize their damage. |
 | Return Fire | Allows your units to return some damage from the ranged monsters. Please do use monsters with high Health to last long. |
 | Trample | Use monsters with this ability in cases you can use Kelya or Possibilus summoners. |
 | Swiftness | Melee and ranged units are dependent of speed. Use monsters with high speed to increase the chances your opponent will miss. |
 | Charge | Allows your melee units to attack in any position. Use Venka for the win! |
 | Enrage | Melee and Speed stats will increase by 1.5 when this monster received damage. Surprise your opponent with this ability which not only increases your attack power, it also increases your chance to avoid melee and ranged attacks. |
The Actual Battle
This battle showcases the Enrage Ability especially our favorite monster, Diemonshark. Eventhough my opponent has Thorns, it only 'enrages' my diemonshark which caused him some misses.
