I was 12 years old when I discovered that I am good at annoying people.
Nahhhh... just kidding, that is not my talent. hahaha!!!

I was in grade six at that time, and there is an art contest in school. I don't have any plans to join but the teacher told us that all students who will join will be exempted from attending class. Those words caught my attention, immediately I signed up for the art contest.
On the day of the contest, I really don't have any idea of what to draw, since my name is Dennis (yeah Dennis. lol) I decided to draw the Character Dennis the Menace. The theme of the contest is Nutrition Week so I drew a Dennis and I surrounded him with fruits and vegetables.
When the winners of the contest were announced, my artwork placed number 2. What? number 2? I don't even know how to draw. Since then my classmates thought that I am good at art. That got me interested in drawing.
I didn't become good at drawing, my drawing skill until now is still average. Since I'm not good at it, I started to develop a system of how to draw, I don't draw like normal artists like doing the circles and the lines first.

In my teenage years due to constant practice, I started to like arts, I tried clay modeling, painting, wood carving, etc.
I noticed that even though I'm not good at it, I feel happy when creating art.
When windows 3.11 was released I started practicing Graphic Design using the paintbrush program, I wasn't really serious about it but it is fun so I do it every time I'm bored.
When I was 23 yrs old I got my girlfriend pregnant, I told myself I need a job, the problem is, I am an undergraduate. I started to look in classified ads for work. What I did is I looked for the most in-demand job at that time.
The most in-demand Job at that time is Graphic Design. I bought a graphic design installer and I tried my best to learn it.
After 1 week, I applied for a Graphic Design Job and I was accepted.
The Company did not realize that I am just a beginner because when they tested my Graphic Skills, it was good.
During my days at that company, I trained myself while working. Then when I already have the experience I decided to look for another job. My second job was Casual Wear Designer, I design silhouettes, accessories, labels, and colors for clothing lines.

after 9 years, I decided to resign, I don't want to work in an office anymore.
After 17 years of not working regularly, I am still doing well, I still have a roof over my head, and food on the table.
As of now, I work from home as a Social Media Manager, I design images for Social Media posting. I also do sidelines when there is an opportunity.
My drawing skills helped me a lot. Actually, I use it to Join contests here in Hive.

It doesn't matter if you're not good at something or if you think you don't have talent, If you like to do something... try learning it. Right now I am trying to learn 3D design,
