With all the excitement of the family visiting last week now being over, it was time to get more focused again this past week.
As you all know, I am quite comfortably ahead of schedule on most of my goals.
At this point, I feel comfortable setting the bar higher for some of my goals for 2022.
I also started working on a new project (which I will discuss down below).
So for now, I have just determined a new target for one of my goals for 2022. I have increased my target for the amount of POB tokens I want to have staked by the end of 2022.
Although we are heading for the finishing line of 2021 at full speed at the moment, I still have time to adjust my other goals without getting rushed.
So, let's have a look at #myhivegoals.
1000 Hive Power.
My HP balance has increased with just over 6.8 Hive Power over the last week.
That seems like nothing to really get excited about but, (1)I am comfortably ahead of schedule and, (2) even though I did convert 50% of the usual token income to Swap.Hive, I did not transfer them to Hive.
As can be seen in the graph above, I am already working towards my target for February 2022, which is 537.5 HP. My current balance is 506.232 HP.
Currently, I am looking at ways to increase my "Effective Power" as well to see what impact that will have on my earning potential. This might assist me in catching up on some goals where I am currently behind schedule.
I am also looking at ways to use the stats available on various tools which could enable me to tell in advance what I can expect during the following week.
1000 - 506.232 = 493.768 to go!
10'000 CTP Staked.
Over the past week, I was able to add just over 28 tokens to my CTP staked balance.
Clearly, I am behind schedule on this goal. But with a full year ahead of me I am confident I can turn things around and catch up on this goal.
For starters, I can follow one of three routes, or maybe all three if needed.
I can:
- Stake a larger percentage of my weekly earnings than the 50% as I am currently doing.
- I can start buying tokens when I don't earn enough.
- I can (and should) get more active again within the awesome #CTP community via engagement and curation.
Over the course of the following week, I will calculate by how much I will have to increase my growth, and how I'm going to do it.
My current balance is 5266.85 CTP tokens staked.
10'000 - 5266.85 = 4733.15 to go!
1000 POB Staked.
Okay, I have reconsidered this goal over the past week.
Over the past week, I have added another 38.122 POB tokens to my staked balance.
This means I am working towards my target for February 2022.
Up until now, my current target was to increase my staked balance by 46 POB tokens per month.
If I almost double that amount, taking it up to 85 POB tokens per month, I should be able to increase my goal from 1000 tokens to 1500 tokens to be staked by the end of 2022 (as you can see in the graph below).
But, this graph also shows that I am still ahead of schedule, even with my increased monthly target. So...who knows? Will this goal maybe increase to 2000 POB tokens staked? I am considering it.
So, for now, I will look at having 1500 tokens staked...but watch this space...lol!
1500 - 526 = 974 to go!
1000 Alive Staked.
I didn't manually stake tokens last week, but with the help of the contest, I still managed to see a slight increase in my balance.
As you can see on the graph above, I have already reached the target for the end of this month and I am now working towards the target for next month, January 2022, which is 412 Alive tokens staked.
This is another goal that I consider increasing to a higher number.
My current balance is 388.664 Alive tokens staked.
1000 - 388.664 = 611.336 to go!
Other Projects and Targets.
I saw an improvement in my stats regarding my commenting which I am happy with. It came up from last week's 178 to 212 this week.
I would like to see my comments stats remain at least above 200 every week measured in 30-day cycles. But my aim would be to get it up more towards the 250 to 270 level.
I have also become more and more involved in another project here on Hive over the last few weeks. I am extremely excited about this project.
The whole project is to fight spam, yet give you the ability to have more control over your visibility and also assist "newbies" and "oldbies" alike to get seen and to grow in the process without taking you away from what you are doing now.
It is a project by 
I truly believe that much of the results that I have achieved lately can directly be linked to being involved with this project.
