This is one of my favorite books by Humayun Ahmed Sir, the magician of words. Getting married to two people of love without telling anyone, in a terrible accident, the two of them together and not arranging the dream world, where causes a lot of pain. Turning her hand on the sleeping Muhib of Aru and saying on Basar night, "You will never know how much I love you" - a fascinating story.
Summary of the story:
Aru is a daughter of a middle-class family. The elder sister is married and Aru is also married to the son of a doctor named Abrar. Abrar is a very good boy. The problem is that Aru loves an unemployed boy named Muhib. Muhib has no parents and lives in his elder sister's house. The elder sister loves him dearly, but Muhib's brother-in-law can't see Muhib with both eyes.
Aru and Muhib went to Kazi's office one day without telling anyone and got married. Their accommodation was arranged at Muhib's friend's house. On the day of the wedding, Muhib's brother-in-law asked him to meet him at the office. After getting married, Muhib left his new bride at a friend's house and went to his brother-in-law's office. After sitting all day, his brother-in-law said that he has arranged a job for Muhib in Chittagong, Muhib will have to go to Chittagong in an office car tomorrow morning.
Returning to Aru, Muhib only said that he would have to go to Chittagong tomorrow. They will spend the whole night talking. But in reality, Muhib fell asleep peacefully when he saw Aru entering the living room. Aru does not wake Muhib from sleep.
The next morning Muhib hurriedly left for Chittagong in his brother-in-law's office car. On the way, Muhib's car had an accident. Nothing happens to any of the passengers in the car, only the back of Muhib's head is knocked unconscious. Unconscious Muhib was brought back to Dhaka and admitted to the hospital. According to the doctor, Muhib is in a coma and his chances of survival are low.
When Muhib's condition became very bad, Muhib's sister informed Aru about the matter over the phone. Aru ran to Muhib. But Aru can't bring Muhib back from the grip of death.
Twenty-five years later, on the wedding day of Aru and Abrar's eldest daughter, Aru fell ill after seeing the groom wearing a yellow Punjabi. Because on the day of his marriage to Muhith, Muhith also came after a yellow Punjabi.
