Newly after a time to write in C/Movies & TV Shows, especially to share my impressions and analysis of one of my favorite series like es "House of the Dragon¨, based on the book "Fire and Blood" by George R.R. Martin, that I read for a long time.
Nuevamente después de un tiempo vuelvo a escribir en la C/Movies & TV Shows, especialmente para compartir mis impresiones y análisis de una de mis series favoritas como es "Casa de los Dragones¨, basada en el libro Fuego y Sangre¨ de George R.R. Martin, que leí hace mucho tiempo.
Connection of the Book with the Serie// Conexión del Libro con la Serie
When the game of Thrones ended three years ago and the premiere of the first season of Casa de los Dragones was announced, I had high expectations about the way in which the director would recreate a book as long as more than 860 pages.
However, satisfactorily from my point of view, this series is based on the story of the book after the total number of its pages, precisely in the most impressive part, where the greatest number of war and bloody scenes predominates.
The past month of August 2022 the beginning of this first season begins, where until it closes there are 8 Chapters out of the 10 announced, I must clarify that my intention is not to spoil the series for those who have not read the book, as well , it is important to point out that until that moment, what George Martin wrote was mostly respected.
This statement I carry out under the criterion that the writer tells the whole story in the third person and the way of references hechas by rumors obtained from characters that he even mentions throughout the text.
This may be with the intention of allowing the film company to have a considerable margin of changes in the outcome of the seasons.
Cuando terminó hace tres años Juego de Tronos y anunciaron el estreno de la primera temporada de Casa de los Dragones, tuve muchas expectativas sobre la forma en que el director recrearía un libro tan extenso de más de 860 páginas.
Sin embargo, satisfactoriamente desde mi punto de vista, esta serie se basa en el relato del libro después de la mitad del total de sus páginas, justamente en la parte más impactante, donde predomina la mayor cantidad de escenas bélicas y sangrientas.
El pasado mes de Agosto 2022 se dio inicio a esta primera temporada donde hasta la fecha se ha cubierto 8 Capitulos de los 10 anunciados, debo aclarar que mi intención es no hacer spoiler de la serie para aquellos que no han leído el libro, así mismo, es importante resaltar que hasta el momento se ha respetado mayormente lo que escribió George Martin.
Esta afirmación la realizó bajo el criterio que el escritor relata toda la historia en tercera persona y a manera de referencias hechas por rumores obtenidos de personajes que incluso menciona a lo largo del texto.
Esto quizás con la intención de permitir a la empresa cinematográfica que puedan tener un margen considerable de cambios en los desenlaces de las temporadas.
My opinion // Mi Opinión
The performances of Paddy Considine and Matt Smith have been masterful, including a very professional work by both actors and that these characters are very controversial and have provided significant value to these two first chapters.
I particularly consider that the scene of Chapter 8, where Paddy Considine personifies King Viserys Targaryen, sick and in his last stage of life, making his greatest sacrifice to defend his daughter Rhaenyra, walking to the throne of hierro, is really masterful and moving, achieving to be one of the most impactful scenes until the moment in the series.
Additionally, in this same scene, Matt Smith tried to help Paddy Considine so that he could sit down and retrieve the corona and put it on.
In addition to these excellent performances, it is important to highlight that the plot of the film revolves around the codicia and the ambition of the majority of the characters of Team Green, as is the case of Otto Hightower (Rhys Ifans) and Alicent Hightower (Olivia Cooke ), which evidently faces and fights against Team Black led by Rey Viserys Targaryen (Paddy Considine), Daemon Targaryen (Matt Smith) and Rhaenyra Targaryen (Emma D'Arcy).
Las actuaciones de Paddy Considine y Matt Smith han sido magistrales, siendo un trabajo muy profesional de ambos actores ya que estos personajes son muy controversiales y le han proporcionado un valor significativo a estos ocho primeros capítulos.
Particularmente considero que la escena del Capítulo 8 donde Paddy Considine personifica al Rey Viserys Targaryen, enfermo y en su última etapa de vida haciendo su mayor sacrificio para defender a su hija Rhaenyra, caminando hacia el trono de hierro, es realmente magistral y conmovedora, logrando ser una de las escenas mas impactantes hasta el momento en lo que va de la serie.
Adicionalmente, en esta misma escena, Matt Smith hizo lo suyo al ayudar a Paddy Considine para que pudiera sentarse y le recoge la corona y se la coloca.
Además de estas excelentes actuaciones, es importante destacar, que la trama del film gira alrededor de la codicia y la ambición de la mayoría de los personajes del Team Green, como es el caso de Otto Hightower (Rhys Ifans) y Alicent Hightower(Olivia Cooke), quienes evidentemente enfrenta y luchan en contra del Team Black liderado por el Rey Viserys Targaryen (Paddy Considine), Daemon Targaryen (Matt Smith)y Rhaenyra Targaryen (Emma D´Arcy).
Final Reflections // Reflexiones Finales
Evidently, the intrigue is the basis of this story since Juego de Tronos, which is precisely where the avaricia for power is, and on which the whole story is based.
It is certainly indisputable that in the near future we expect more aggressive scenes, as part of the development of the story and the product of the confrontation of a family divided by the ambition to the throne.
Evidentemente la intriga es la base de esta historia desde Juego de Tronos, donde precisamente es la avaricia por el poder, en lo que se fundamenta todo el relato.
Ciertamente es indiscutible que en los próximos esperamos escenas de mayor agresividad, como parte misma del desarrollo de la historia y producto del enfrentamiento de una familia divida por la ambiciona al trono.
I am sure that the fans of this series are waiting for the last of the chapters of this season and enjoying the scenes that will surely give us away.
Estoy segura que los fanáticos de esta serie estamos a la expectativa de los últimos dos capítulos de esta temporada y disfrutar de las escenas que seguramente nos quitaran el aliento.
